Very usable/ Arrived intact. Big wide jar & lid may be a bit difficult for some. No scent problem. Using on my unprocessed grey African American type hair to vary my styles when I choose -from smooth waves to full blown perfect afro. Normal average price compared to moderate pricing stores. Delivered to home saved the trip to store.

This gel has amazing hold. It’s hard to find in stores.

I use this for my daughter's dance competition hair. It works well at slicking everything down and keeping it in place for hours. It also makes her slick back bun very shiny and sleek. It keeps her braids from fraying. Keep in mind they recently changed the packaging. I was confused when I first received it and they did some research to find out it had changed. Highly recommend this to anyone needing a stronghold style that lasts.

Product is good! I've been using this gel for years, for me 5 stars all the way for what it is.How it arrives is the only negative side for me. The plastic that ampro uses isn't the best(a plastic Easter egg has more flexibility) so it cracks very easily.I understood the risks reading the previous reviews, I just was crossing my fingers hoping it wasn't going to happen to me...but it did. Not so bad I have a previous container to put the damaged one in.4 of 5 stars total1 star off because of shipping.

Great for light colored hair. Dries quickly. No flakes. Great hold.

Gigantic product. Good enough strength to hold your hair throughout the day. Don't expect it to hold your hair up stiff like extra hold hairspray, but when applying hairspray then it definitely stays up depending on what you are doing. My hair is pretty stubborn to gel products, but this gel does the job in addition to a comb. Light fragrance ant not overpowering at all.

Used this for 10+ years with great results. Along the way, I developed huge nasal polyps that blocked my entire nasal passages. After a few years with no relief, I stopped using this gel and the polyps disappeared in just a few weeks. Not sure which ingredient(s) caused the polyps, but if you have the same issue, ditch this hair gel!
