Bavarian Herbal Bitters 120 Caps

I was having trouble with low stomach acid and had symptoms of bloating, cramping, belching, loose stools, hair loss, histamine intolerance, osteoporosis, nafld disease. Which I found out are all related to low stomach acid. I don’t drink alcohol, smoke, eat processed foods, eat red meat. I eat organic and I am not overweight. So I couldn’t figure out why I was having such health issues. Low stomach acid is a very serious problem. So I learned about bitter herbs increasing stomach acid. I was putting a 1/4 tsp. of fresh lemon juice in a tumbler of water while I waited to get this as a test to see if the acid would help. Sure enough I had an immediate positive change. Being sensitive to citrus fruit with the histamine intolerance I wanted something that I could take without any reaction. I have been taking only one capsule before meals instead of the recommended two just to be careful. It’s now been about 3 days and I can say that I have only positive results so far. All my negative symptoms have pretty much disappeared. So I am thrilled. Whether or not it will change the osteoporosis, nafld disease or the histamine intolerance I will have to wait and see. But I will definitely be letting my doctor know. Without proper stomach acid you can’t digest food properly and get the necessary nutrients from the food you eat. This causes many serious conditions as you can see from the things that I have mentioned already. I only wish that I had known these things earlier.

Very nice supplement. Works very well if taken 30 minutes before lunch. If taken with grapefruit 30 minutes before lunch - the effect doubles. Definitely recommend for improving bile flow and digestion in general.

I was recommended by my Dr to take bitters before my meals to help with Acid Reflux. It helped immensely and I attribute bitters as the main reason for my healing after all the stress these shut downs put on my digestion. I would give it more stars but I learned that bitters work best when taken as a liquid as the bitterness in the mouth are part of it being effective. Pill form is less affective. However, I simply opened and poured this capsules in a small amount of water, stirred, and drank.

I was happy to find digestive bitters in capsule form, no more mess of having to dilute a liquid tincture and it contains no alcohol for those who can't have it. I don't always remember to take a bitter capsule before a meal but usually after, and these are a godsend to have if you have digestive issues. These are especially helpful if I eat a fatty or heavy meal, or I feel indigestion coming on. It's best to check with your doctor to make sure the herbs don't interact with medications or exacerbate other conditions.

Great product so far! Ha! I mean Ive been taking Bitters for awhile. My naturopathic digestive Dr. has me taking them. Sounds like some real hippie stuff right? Well the laughs on you cause ive lost 25.lbs this last year. I take 2 of these a day with a meal and they help my food cravings, I haven't bought or eaten ice cream, etc in months. These work. Very affordable. Make sure you talk to your Dr. if you take other medications. Herbal supplements are not just food. Ya know? Good luck!

This product seems to have the exact ingredients as I was prescribed from my doctor while living in Bavaria. I remember because many apothecaries there take your list of ingredients then go out back to grind and put in capsules.

I have been pleasantly surprised in how well my digestion and sugar cravings has been since taking this. This is the first product that has helped. So thankful I found it.
