They say that you can. Have used mine very much on 26 and 29 gage sheet metal with no appreciable wear. Keep it oiled as they say.

Q: I own this, i like it but i don’t really know how to use it that well. there is an attachment i don’t know how to use and there are no instructions.

The round hole should face the direction you are cutting. Set screw can be changed using Allen wrench. Be careful of cuttings , small pets can be injured if allowed to fall on ground. Safe cutting area should be designated
