Q: How do you remove the amp from the mount after it is attached?

This is how to remove the Amp from the Amp wall mount bracket after it is installed. Unscrew the two visible screws at the top. Remove the small front bracket previously held by those screws. Lift the Amp up towards the location where you just removed the screws. It should lift up slightly and then out from the wall. Then remove the mounting screw from the center of the back of the Amp if desired. If you need more help, please contact us through Amazon buyer-seller messaging. Reversing the directions from the installation manual is also fairly straightforward.

Q: Will this bracket allow me to position my sonos amp on the ceiling of a closet?

I used this to mount the amp above a door way. I would think you could mount it on any flat surface
