Works as expected
Works perfectly fine. I was using windows 7, Driver got installed automatically.I had bought this for prototyping. My application requires USB to UART. For my application, I had to change the number from 5V to 3.3V. worked fine

Product is not same as picture
Don't buy. This seller is cheating not providing the product which is in image, no cable its usb. The product I received is much lower price from another sellers.Chip is not ok , its is fire hazard if 3.3 volt connected. My recommendation, DONT BUY.

Careful with the fake 3.3V
Seems to work so far. The chip is labelled CH340G. The method used for getting 3.3V TTL is just two diodes in series from the 5V supply. This could be dangerous for some modules you end up connecting this to.For me, with a 5.17V USB power, the result was 3.74V on the 3.3V line.ie, 5.17 - 0.7 x 2 = ~3.77VI would recommend replacing the diodes and jumper with proper regulated voltage if you plan on using 3.3V TTL. Based on the schematics I have seen, this can be achieved by taking the 5V output, regulating it with something like an AMS1117, and then feeding it back to the VCC pin. Or use a 3.3V rail from the board you are connecting to.
