Seal Cover for 12, 18 & 22 Quart Rounds Translucent

I have noticed that others are saying their lids don't fit. They need to buy the right one for their container's. All of the 1 star reviews that are unhappy did not research the product!!! I made the same mistake but I did not blame the manufacture for it. I bought the Cambro RFSC12PP Cover for the Cambro RFS12PP190 round 12qt container. It fit perfectly the only thing is both my numbers stop before the 190 which is not included. It does not seem to matter. I also bought the Cambro RFS12SCPP and it was just a very tiny bit to large so my second one worked like a charm. All I had to do was contact the seller or two check the lid I had on my 18 qt container. SO Ask questions before buying!!!! I made both mistakes but again I did not blame the manufacture or seller for it. !!They make at least 3 containers and lids that are each for the 12 18 22 qt.and the right lid fits all 3 sizes. If you by the wrong lid don't blame the seller or manufacture.

I ordered this lid and had an issue with the fit on the 12 qt. Called ccutomer service and found the lid was defective. I was sent a replacement - recieved next buisness day. replacement fits perfectly with an air tight seal.Thank you for your great custmoer service.

This does not fit the Cambro 6 quart round Polypropylene container as advertised. I contacted the seller and the seller doesn't stand by his/her product. The information on Amazon claims it fits a Cambro 6 quart round container, yet it is too small. This is the sellers response:"HiI only sell the product for what is it and have no control over what it fits. I am sorry but you would need to call and email camwear. I am sure they know about the issue and have things in place to fix it."This is unacceptable. This seller represents that the lid fits the product and it does not and does not stand by the product. I should not have to chase after the manufacturer to resolve this issue.*****After doing some research I've learned that this cover - the RFS6SCPP is intended to pair up with the transparent polycarbonate styleof the Cambro 6 and 8 quart container and not the translucent polypropylene version. The proper lids that do fit the translucent polypropolne container are the RFSC6PP or the RFSC6 (which is the more opaque version of the two). The incorrect pairing is not a manufacturing defect, but a problem with the seller/distributor not understanding his own product and making an incorrect representation that this lid fits all Cambro 6 and 8 quart round containers.

I'm not sure why there are so many dividing reviews on this, perhaps quality is not consistent? But as of February 2014, my 6 & 8 qt lid FITS the Cambro 6 qt around container PERFECTLY. The lid fits rather effortlessly (I just press it down around the edge just like any plastic container with lids) and tightly (it never pops loose while my slow rising no-knead bread dough rises). I cannot be any happier with the purchase! I have been washing the lid by hand in soapy water, never in the dishwasher as I'm afraid it might warp.These are the items I got on Amazon on February 19, 2014:- Camwear Seal Cover for 6 & 8 Quart Camwear Round Food Storage Containers. This lid did not fit my 12qt Cambro container the way I thought it would. It isn't a perfect fit, but it works with some elbow grease.

These kids were suggested as bought together with the 18 liter buckets. The lid fits over the bucket but not an exact fit so it's not air tight. Please start selling the buckets and lids together for what fits it.

Make sure you know what you're buying. Amazon lists this lid as fitting with my other canisters... and alas... it does not.

I bought this for a 2 qt container for making bread. It fit perfectly, didn't pop off during the rising phase. It cleaned easily in the dishwasher. In all, it simply did the job it was supposed to do and I love it when things just WORK like they are supposed to.
