Overall a very sturdy product with two 'off camera' equipment mounts which can be used in any of the available three positions. A spare 'screw' is provided for the third hole/position. They are not 'hot shoe' mounts but can still be used for 'hot shoe' equipment that has an appropriate lead with it. This is important as some 'mounts' are flat metal which may pose problems for some equipment where there is a potential for shorting between the pins on the base of the equipment being used. This product has a V shape cut in the base of the shoe mount which means the pins do not make contact with bare metal. As indicated by other reviews, because the 'shoe' mounts have a twist lock system and no 'end/stop pin' it means the bracket can be used on both the right or left hand side of the camera. The twist locks appear sturdy and worked well in use. The product is sturdy but the handle material could be a little thicker. Large hands may struggle to get all fingers around it tightly. That said, a suitable cloth could be wound around it to make it more comfortable for individual users. I would have preferred the 'angle' of the handle to be more upright/vertical when the base is held horizontally with both hands; but that may be simply a personal preference. The underside of the 'top' shoe mount (to the base of the screw) sits 15cm (6 inch) above the 'top' of the base bracket/camera mount location. This is a good distance and should allow many cameras to take advantage of this bracket. There is a rubber 'grommet' stuck to the base plate which allows cameras to be held firmly and without slipping. This is 75mm (3") long. The screw mount protrudes through this rubber piece and at its furthest point from the handle (or where your hand is likely to be wrapped around it) it has 60mm (2.5") of travel. So, as long as the distance between the side of the camera (which is going to be closest to your hand holding the mount) and the mounting point is 60mm or less then your camera will fit this bracket without you struggling to get hand on the bracket handle. I am pleased very with this purchase.

Looking for a flash bracket here on Amazon for my Nikon D7100 and SB800 flash I came across this one which looked to be just the thing and, at twelve pounds, very good value. I wasn't disappointed. it is just the thing. It is solid, well made, comfortable and very well thought out. For my simple needs it is perfect. It holds my flash well above the camera about two and a half inches to the left of the lens centre (it can fit on the opposite side if you prefer) and I connect the flash to the camera with a Nikon SC17 cable. My only criticism is that it is difficult to get the clamps very tight but I added lock washers which work beautifully. Highly recommended!

The bracket is good quality, sturdy and well made but I found it to be a little heavy and awkward to use when the camera and flash were attached.

Excellent camera grip for left or right handed use, does the job in as much as all it is is a bent piece of metal! cold shoes are very sturdy and adjustable, whole thing is heavy duty and very useful in all sorts of situations, mainly use mine for dual speedlights, Provides an economical way to do both horizontal and vertical flash, not much to look at but offers excellent versatility when needed, it will be excellent for video taking mike away from the camera, so simple and so useful.

Needed a bracket for off camera flash without breaking the bank, choose ChromeLives L Bracket using others reviews. Arrived and does what i need,. Sturdy enough for my Nissin di866 flash with a corded lead from camera. Mount can be both vertical and horizontal. Meets all i need as only an occasion flashgun user. It is what it is and a budget price.

I love this bracket. I was searching for a bracket that could accommodate a camera, a microphone, a LED light and a Infrared light and this can hold all of these while also being super comfortable. It is super lightweight which helps with the fact I didn't want extra weight but really did need something for all of my gear. Great price and feels like it will last a relatively good amount of time before I need to upgrade.

For what you pay this is a very good item to have for off camera flash, I use it occasionally and it does the job well.
