2D: Visual Basics For Designers (Design Concepts)

This book is amazing for starters! It explains a little of everything. It gives a general knowledge of each aspect of design/art ( line, shapes, color, texture, etc). The content is clear and helpful. However, if you have some knowledge about art/design, this book can be too basic for you.

This book was required for my design course.

I took a digital imaging class that involved reading this cook, and writing critiques on works, using the elements and principles of design as outlined in the book. That book got dogeared! The class involved some concepts of Art that I hadn't been exposed to, due to not being educated in the fine Arts. This book filled in many gaps.

This book is great. I underline and highlight in it constantly. It has great examples that reinforce the text and is easy to read and understand. I am a beginning designer and this book really helped me out. I know that I will refer back to it often because design principles are timeless.

Was looking for cheaper university books and this one was half the price of the books sold at the university store. Also was of great quality and arrived before the due date, will buy from here again. A++++

Needed this book for university and i couldnt believe how much cheaper and easier it was to get here instead
