Cool Little Piece of Equipment
I'm just now getting my vinyl collection together, and have been looking for a quick, easy way to display it. Love this! It's pretty minimalist so it doesn't distract from the album artwork. It was surprisingly easy to install, though the package didn't come with instructions. But I checked out the website where they have a "how to hang guide" which answered any installment questions I had. Once I figured it out, it was pretty intuitive and clever. I need to get another now to use on my record player table, or even a whole wall of them for a rotating "gallery"! Oh, and major bonus points for a solution which doesn't break the bank!

These things are proppin up my feelings right now!
I bought record props when they first came out. seemed like an interesting way to show off some of my nicer looking vinyl records. i liked em so much i ended up buying a bunch to display. just picked up this new version of them. better packaging, better quality, better design. the lock screw through the middle of the display is very intuitive and easy to work. great weight too. i can hold up a double jacket cover with no issues when displaying. props to the designer - i have been recommending these since i first got them and will continue to nag my audiophile friends about them!!!!

Good Option with a Few Problems
These are a great alternative to framing albums if you are looking to save a bit of money or prefer the look of the way the vinyls are displayed. These mounts get the job done and are well made/packaged and I'm happy with these now that I have them on the wall, but there are few problems:- Depending on the album sleeve, it may not sit flush or fit well between the mount and the wall. Double LPs won't fit without removing the second LP and if the sleeve is too heavy or light, it might lean forward or to a specific side. I resolved this by adding a sleeve protector to each sleeve and then putting a command strip on the protector to properly align the sleeve to the wall within the mount.- They are hard to align level on the wall due to the shape (it's an X). It's not impossible but you'll need to be precise when mounting to the wall. This can be artificially exacerbated by any sleeve lean mentioned above.- There are 3d printed versions of these elsewhere for a much lower price, easier alignment, and a better "pocket" for the sleeve. The upside to this particular mount is that it is available via Prime for a much quicker fulfillment time and are probably better made in most cases than the 3d printed counterparts. As a note for mounting:The mounts come with screws to mount, but I can confirm these also hold up nice with command strips. I recommend normal strips over the velcro ones. The velcro ones create a larger gap between the mount and the wall that can present issues with the album sleeve staying flush to the wall. Just be sure to remove anything in the sleeve that would add significant weight, these have trouble staying up if they bear weight (like any booklet, 2nd LP, etc).

Awesome aesthetic, great design
I wanted something that showed the record as well as the sleeve and this was the best thing I found. It is the best thing out there too because it’s super easy and looks awesome. I don’t have a record player, but if you wanted to play it you just pull it off, turn the nub in the middle, then use the x mount to display the cover, and there’s a small bracket that stays up on the wall. Definitely buying more, and it would be great as a gift with a friends fav album.

Nothing’s perfect — this is close as it gets!
The media could not be loaded. I bought some of these as a Christmas gift and they’ve been on my personal shopping list ever since. I’m ecstatic to finally have my own set. They feel well made and have a team of genuine people behind them. Go figure, right, real people! I went the command strip route and was able to align and everything pretty well level using a tape measure, pencil, and a level app - measure from the middle of the ‘X.’The different holder widths securely hold single and double albums as can be seen in my photos and video. Not all record jackets are the same though, some are larger than others, some will sit better than others, with or without their contents. In one case, I have an insert in front of the jacket, and so it’s not perfectly flush. But I’m still more than happy with how it looks. I may add some blue painters tape (for future easy release) and fasten the top of the jacket with some command tape to tighten them up and they’ll look even better.I’ll definitely buy more and continue to support this small business.

tacky, waste of money
waste of my money😭 I got it as a gift but it is so small that it could barely hold the vinyls well and is hard to mount on the wall. i felt so bad buying this as a gift DO NOT GET it. Get the larger vinyl holders instead. i feel like it was so overpriced for what it was :(

Good for single albums—-Crap for doubles
Cool, effective product for single album cover. Totally lousy for a double album cover. The peg isn’t long enough or maybe just doesn’t grip the bottom X enough to really hold a thicker double album—at least not if you need to keep one of the records in the cover while the other is in the player. The weight of the double album cover plus 1 record causes the cover to tip forward and I guess applies too much force on the front X, thereby popping the peg right out and causing the displayed record and the cover with the 2nd record to go crashing to the floor. Very disappointing performance for thicker covers. Great performance for single albums.
