Smaller than expected, thin material, with a wonky bottom
11 x 11 x 6 are the measurements given, and that is true, if you aren't measuring the actual dimensions of the usable space. It's got a wonky bottom that is sewn up like a paper bag fold, so there are strange angles. It isn't going to to lend itself well to packing a 6-year-old's school lunch. It has a convertible strap with the D-rings at the bottom of the bag, so if you wanted to carry it over your shoulder instead of like a backpack, it would hang upside down. The "insulation" is just neoprene, which is what the bag is made of. I seriously doubt it will maintain a chill for long and will have to bear that in mind when packing my son's lunch.Mama is frustrated and a little unhappy with this. Little Godzilla-loving boy is still just tickled to be able to take his lunch to school in a Godzilla bag.The actual usable dimensions of this bag are 11 x 6 on bottom, but it is an oval, so that footprint is inconsistent. It is, technically, 11 inches tall, but it is only about 6 inches, maybe 6.5 deep from the zipper down. Since it is zipping to an apex, the usable space is again minimized due to the angle. If you intend to try to stack storage containers and an ice pack in there...good luck. For $20.00, I am VERY unhappy with the size and quality.
