Muscle Pharm Combat Powder Advanced Time Release Protein, Triple Berry, 2 Pound

Triple Berry: Smells like a kid's multivitamin (think Flintstones) and tastes like cherry flavored Pepto. I like to add this to fruit smoothies instead of milk.Chocolate Peanut Butter: Tastes like neither chocolate or peanut butter mixed with water or milk. This is the only flavor that I feel bloated after drinking.

I just finished a 2lbs pack of this stuff in Triple Berry flavor. It's the first time I've used this product. I wanted a good combination whey/casein supplement to help maintain good nitrogen balance. It seems to fit the bill for that, and I like the fact that it also includes digestive enzymes. I had no problems with digestion associated with taking this product. By contrast, I have had intestinal discomfort and gas from taking some other brands of protein shakes. Many reviews have described this product as too sweet. I tend to find many protein powders too bland, so I thought this might actually be a good thing. Having tried it I can say that to me it is not too sweet, but has a sort of under-taste that I found a bit sickening when mixed with just water. Through experimentation I found the best results by mixing one scoop of powder with 15oz of water and 5oz of a milk substitute (coconut/almond milk, soy milk, etc.). I also tried it with coconut milk eggnog which was absolutely delicious! In any case, just adding a bit of milk like product to the mix was effective at masking the unpleasant under-taste, and I went through the whole jar perfectly satisfied. I would buy this product again in this flavor, but I decided to try some other flavors first. I just opened a new jar in Cinnamon Bun flavor, and I have to say I like it better. I can mix it with just water, and it tastes great. It has no under-taste or after-taste, and to me it tastes just like a sticky bun with lots of frosting. By the way, I mix this stuff in a shaker cup, and it works just fine. Occasionally I get a clump or two, but usually none at all. I recommend this product.

The grape flavor was amazing loved it gulped it down in seconds. The effect was pretty good as well had good stamina but nothing out the ordinary in comparison

Works good but it kind of bloats me out from all the creatine. Also it makes u gotta number 2 a lot

I really like Combat Powder, but I've still never found a fruit/berry flavored protein powder that I enjoyed. Like similar disappointments I've tried with ON, etc, the berry flavor here is too sweet for anything but a fruit smoothie. If you have a lot of fruit smoothies, great! If you want to add this to anything else, stick with the vanillas, chocolates, etc.

With this being my first Casein powder I've ever tried, I absolutely LOVE it! 24g protein, 4g Carbs, tastes delicious, I look forward to drinking it every night before bed! Definitely will be recommending and buying again.

Doesn't upset my stomach like other protien mixes do and it taste like strawberry quick worth every cent
