The media could not be loaded. I got tired of lugging my bulky donut pillow when traveling and decided to try the trtl Pillow Plus for my trip from LA to Athens Greece. I debated between the less expensive trtl original and the Plus and decided to goall out and purchase the newest model.OMG! This pillow is an absolute game changer! It saved my neck and I slept so much better than using the donut pillow.I was able to adjust the pillow height/fit using the genius design of the knobs! I prefer a little lower in the front and higher in the back for a better contouring of my head & neck position. trtl Plus supported my neck so comfortably with its sturdy construction and paddings that I slept so deep and started dreaming!It also functioned as a neck scarf for keeping me warm when the cabin temperature got colder.The sturdy carrying case comes with a clip you can clip on to a bag strap ring, but it folds up nice and compact that easily fitted in my bag without taking up much space.I was a little skeptical on investing a $100 on a neck pillow, but I’m so thankful for making this purchase and highly recommend you give it a try!! The gray color was the only option when I purchased it and it’s a nice neutral color.

I used this device on 4 x 8hr+ trips and it was a great improvement from my previous travel pillows. I have a long neck and it fits great.Pros:- Comfortably supports the head and neck- Enables a very easy sleep- Prevents being sudden head nods and jerks when sleeping.- The adjustable knobs do make a difference in comfort levels.- Carry bag is very nice.Cons:- The wrap velcro adhesion doesn't seem adequate- The wrap system could use a revamp maybe a less wide wrap- I don't think this would be very comfortable for ppl with shorter necks. My friend tried it and she was barley able to position it comfortably under her neck. She has an average neck height.- Price is steep for sure. I only bought it because I'm always traveling otherwise I wouldn't pay the asking priceOverall it's one of the best travel devices I've used and it seems as if it was a good investment. The price was def high and should be lower though. If you travel quite a bit and have issues with sleeping due to head nodding and jerking then I do recommend this travel device. It really does help with getting sleep while traveling.

I waited for the new Trtle plus model specifically for the cooling benefits since I had heard about how hot the first model got while wearing. Coming from someone who gets hot quite easily, I needed a neck pillow that supported without the extra heat. I purchased a competitor brand neck pillow that is somewhat shaped like the traditional "u" but it had straps to attach to the seat and magnetic clips that clipped closed to provide support. Although the competitor brand was very supportive, it only took a few minutes for me to get uncomfortably hot. Add to that the fact that my sound blocking headphones did not sit right on my head because of the bulkiness of the pillow. About a week after trying the competitor pillow, the new Trtl plus arrived just in time for my 19+ hour flight (14 on first leg, 5+ on second leg). That was a true test! The first thing I liked about the Trtle Plus pillow was how small it folds up to. I attached it to my luggage by clipping it from the included travel bag. The bag was a pretty turquoise color which stood out among the ugly random neck pillows around me. The second thing I liked was the fact that it was pretty easy to adjust for my neck length. It was also super easy to attach using the rubberized ends that attached when pinned around the neck. I tried it on the right side, left side and even with the pillow under my chin. If I was awake and reading, or watching a show, I found it comfortable underneath my chin. I actually forgot I had it on and went to the restroom on the plane with it around my neck. Now, I won't say I didn't get a little warm, but definitely not as hot as with the competitor pillow. Because it wasn't bulky, it felt lightweight. The added bonus was that my noise cancelling headphones fit better with the Trtle plus pillow since it wasn't so bulky to push it off my ears. I commend the manufacturers for listening to the user's complaints about the extra heat and taking steps to make the material more cooling. I will likely reach for this pillow on future plane trips ESPECIALLY any overseas flights and highly recommend the Trtle Plus neck pillow.** Excellent Customer ServiceUnfortunately the travel bag that was included with the pillow did not fare well on my trip since the carribeaner attachment (that clips the bag to luggage) broke. I contacted the seller and sent pictures explaining that I could no longer use the bag without the clip. I received a response in a day and after sending pictures was assured I would get a replacement bag. I got the replacement bag today (just a few days after contacting them) so I am very impressed with their customer service. If anything happens in the future, I know I can reach out and get assistance. Again, I highly recommend the product and the company.

Loved the idea behind this but it did not work out. Maybe i have too short of a neck but felt at its lowest setting i still could not get comfortable. I really wanted it to work out because sleeping on planes is horrible so wanted something i could bring everywhere to get some decent shut eye in.

This is my first review ever in decades of purchasing on Amazon but I really wanted to add a warning that this isn't for everyone. It certainly isn't for me.I travel a lot internationally and sleeping at the right time during 30-hour trips with up to 12-hour time changes is really important. I tried this on two trips from my US west coast home, one to north Africa and one to Europe. I fussed with it continually to find a position where it would keep my head from slipping out and falling forward or having the device (I wouldn't call it a pillow) slip out from under my head or off my shoulder. To get it snug enough to stay in place would require tightening the straps way too tight for comfort (or for breathing). I finally gave up. I'm going back to a simple pillow for my upcoming and even longer trip to South Africa.I understand a lot of people love it and I can't explain why it doesn't work for me but I found it very uncomfortable, unstable, and frustrating so it's not for everyone. I can do better with nothing at all or any little pillow. Unfortunately, it's really expensive and after giving it a try on two trips it's too late to return it.
