Please rely on recent reviews regarding this product, rather than pre 2017 The packing was outstanding with Amazon wrapping the statue in an inner box in bubble wrap then putting it with more shock absorbing packing in a larger box and then shipping. Consequently the statue arrive very well protected with the outer box taking any abuse of the shipping, leaving the piece safe and sound. The statue itself is as described as to detail and is very well done with detail far superior to a concrete one and is very artistic, rather than some crude attempts in concrete. It comes filled with some weighted filler, which appears to be just fine for stability outdoors. As the detail states the color is variable, and mine came in a grey concrete color. I changed the color to a flat greenish olive to emulate metal green patina with spray paint over an automobile primer and the result was excellent. As to size, it is slightly over 22" and of course includes the base to the tip of the top of the highest wing. The value of this piece is just outstanding compared to alternatives. I wished it came in a larger version, but I added to the pedestal using concrete pavers from Lowes which brought it up 4 inches as part of the base, so it is around the same height of my Greek/Roman maiden statue of concrete. This product is an outstanding value and well done.

I've ordered at least 10-12 of these angels over the past 3 yrs. and I give one to friends in lieu of flowers when their loved one passes, This angel is something the family can keep forever, whether she sits on a pedastal in your home or nestles in your garden, it's just beautiful. Even the mossy, green grass that accumulates on her makes her look more authentic and beautiful. At my dear Mother's funeral in Nov., 2012, I displayed 3 of the angels which were placed on a table with lace doilies/scarfs and I placed Mom's framed pictures on the table around the angels. It was lovely. After the funeral, I gave my two sisters an angel to keep forever in memory of our Mom. All my angels arrived safe, color as shown, and wrapped securely. I highly recommend this beautiful angel to everyone.

Very BEAUTIFUL ANGEL ... we had a memorial Area done IN MEMORY OF our only Daughter April Ann age 19 Killed by Severe Gross Negligence at A Texas Hospital ,Due to no proper Continous EEG machine or Epilepsy Doctors on duty Our Daughter should of been Transferred to a higher Trauma Hospital Right from ER But they kept her in there ICU for 3days doing nothing ,8I Once we got her to different hospital the damage was done. They allowed my baby girls BRAIN SWELL SO BADLY SHE WAS BRAIN DEAD . SO this angel etc.is for me to sit & reflect on your loving personality etc...... I will miss her daily till I'm with her again on the otherside.. Grieving parents are very sad daily . People don't understand how to talk to us we lose our child and end up alone a's people we thought were are friends & daughters friends drift away, So this GARDEN AREA IS FOR US ,HER FATHER AN BROTHERS TO SEAT & REMEMBER HER LOVING KIND SOUL ........ I

This angel makes a wonderful addition to my outside patio. It is very sturdy and was heavy for me to lift both out of the box and to move it to my patio. It was also difficult to get out of both boxes. I am not complaining as I would prefer to have her well packed and arrive in tact rather than broken. Mine is a pale light grey. I do have to say that she is pitched a little forward on her base and her head does tend face slightly downward. As someone who has a number of smaller indoor angel statuettes this feature is not a problem for me. My last smaller and more lightweight angel broke when I accidentally knocked her over. I am very pleased with my new angel.

The angel itself is nice,but the wings are rubber? Are you serious,make the wings out of rubber..

Sculptural Gardens 23-Inch Guardian Angel Statuary (Color May Vary) [Lawn & Patio] Condition: New. Sold by: Amazon.com LLCHeavy molded resin Statue $40.12 : Ordered on December 11, Delivered December 16th, 2013. After opening the Amazon box, which was in excellent shape, and removing some craft paper padding, I found the inner box somewhat crushed. I was afraid like other reviews, there would be some broken wings, but the statue was intact. I did note some defects, the most troubling was a defect on the angels right wing. There is an area that compresses easily near a discolored area that looked like a patch (photo uploaded). This is a heavy molded resin statue that probably should not be able to be compressed. Also there were areas where the paint had not adhered to the resin. ( see uploaded pictures ). Also the right knee looks dirty. My plans for this statue, after being cleaned and repainted a light color, will be placed outdoors in the very sunny hot humid Florida weather. I am hoping it will stand up to the climate and UV rays. The style, pose, and detail of the angel are very appealing. It is 22 7/8 inches tall at it's highest point at the right wing, 10 1/2 inches wide at the widest point at the wings, depth is 7 1/2 inches from the right front knee to the back of the base. the Base is 7 1/4 square. The color is a flat light stone color that looks like a 2 process paint application, a light cream semi-gloss to Satin, covered with a Flat- powdery very light grey paint that has been wiped off in some areas to give it a antique finish, unfortunately, neither layer of paint stuck to the paint defect areas. After repainting, I am looking forward to enjoying this in my garden - hopefully for a number of years to come.

This is a really great outdoor angel. my biggest fear was that it would look cheap or fake, and boy this looks classic. A great addition to any garden absolutely thrilled with it. Great size, perfect color, and MOST IMPORTANTLY is does not look cheap or molded! it looks genuine and classic made to last decades!

I know color varies but was so hoping for it to be white not gray!
