We like it!
My 10 year old picked this out as a gift for my 7 year old for Christy's, and it's been a hit. I like that it can also be used as just a plain flashlight.

It’s ok
What I got is slightly different than the images shown. This one runs off of super tiny batteries and not AAAs. Also, like other have said, the images aren’t very clear even when you hold it at the recommended distance. I have found if you point it up and hold the spring loaded clip open the image clears up a lot. However if you want it closed the image gets out of focus again. For $8 it isn’t too bad. Just wish it was more like the one shown in the ad.

good but small images
Good images, children loved it, however we soon saw that it uses small (dangerous) batteries, in addition, the disks do not spin firmly, they are partially inserted. the images are very small, could be bigger and use easy to change AAA batteries.

A great educational toy for a great price!
My 3 year old loves all things space! It took him a little bit to get used to putting the disks in the slot but he got it! He even knows how to focus the slide. It would be nice if there was a built in spot to keep the disks. But I attached a little pouch to the end for the disks. So that works - just not as convenient and nice looking. I’m surprised my 3 year old hasn’t lost the disks yet! It would be awesome if there was text on each slide saying what it is. But a great educational toy for a great price!

Buyer Beware
Super super tiny, not what I expected. Christmas gift so I wanted to make sure it worked, of course not. Again quality control and a hit or miss if something is going to work. Returning and not requesting a replacement.

It’s pretty great and my kids loves it
This thing is really great. My dino fanatic 3 yr old loves it. It’s smaller than you’d think but perfect for little hands to control. Previous comments stated complaints about picture quality.... if you turn the front yellow piece it will adjust the photo. The pictures are crystal clear and the flash light is very bright. It’s a great little toy. Wont last a life time I’m sure but he loves it for now. I’ve seen these same flash lights at Walgreens for $3.99 they were Spider-Man theme. So maybe Amazon is selling them a little high on price. Non the less, we love it.

Not Worth The Money
I saw these several places and was excited to get these for my grandsons. I read the size but it didn't register- they are tiny. They are super bright but when you put the disc in the picture is blurry and does not appear very large on the wall. Half the time you can't tell what kind of dino or animal it is. I was so disappointed. Might be worth $5 but not any more.
