Hoyle Card Games 2004 - PC

I was disappointed in this game because I had a copy of a Hoyle Card Game 2004 and this one is nothing like it. I liked the characters much better in the copy that I had. I liked Ethel, and Rick, and Robin. I liked the idea that you could change places in the hearts game. You could take any player and put that player anywhere. In this version, if I want to move around the players in Hearts, I have to put in different players than the ones that I am using, and then can replace them with with my choices in the positions that I want. Also, I think most of the comments made by the players in the new game are kind of lame. I prefer the earlier version. The only benefits that I see in this newer version is that I have Blackjack as one of my options, and the disc does not have to be in the drive to get the players to speak. I play spider solitaire a lot. Why did you do away with the space at the top of the careen? And "tableaux" at the top of the screen in spider solitaire, who knew what that meant until you played the game several times. I really think the old version of Hoyle 2004 far exceeds this newer edition. I don't understand how you can create a new version that no way comes close to the older game.
