Best Molting Supplement
I have used this product or similar off and on over 30 years. Works like a charm. Don't put to much on. I prefer to sprinkle it on things I add to the pellet diet that has moisture. Otherwise it just falls off.

Good stuff
I have a 1.5 year old Caique. After 6 months of owning her she started barbering her feathers around December/January. She was very uncomfortable obviously. I took her to an avian vet, after $500 they told me she was in molt and probably just didn't like her situation (itchy), gave me an anti-histamine to give her. My house has a whole home humidifier so I was like what the heck? I tried a lot of things, direct humidification, etc..Started giving her Nekton Bio in Feb. She was back to FULL plumage in April, no more barbering. Well, made the mistake of not starting this in December, same thing happened this year. I really really try with her diet but there is something that gives her a boost with this supplement. She sprouts new pin feathers all over and I see less and less feathers around after a couple weeks. I suggest you try it if your bird has issues like this. It's a little pricey but I think worth it. I soak a small unsalted cracker in water and spread a little on it. She eats the whole thing like it's her job. I think it is better than putting in her water.

So far so good.
Still too early to know if /how beneficial but palatable, and easy to administer in their fruit and veggie mix they get daily.

Worth it
After a big scare with a blood feather, we started giving this supplement to our green cheek conure. Her wings have been doing so good and health.

Muy buen producto
Este producto es otra cosa. Mi cotorra estaba deprimida y se arrancó todas sus plumas . Le comencé este producto y ahora parece que le dieron un tratamiento de queratina 😂 de tan bello que tienen el plumaje .

Great stuff!!
I use this stuff in my flock of three every day. Sprinkle a little on their wet food. I first started using this when my Macaw was sick. We went to our Avian vet, she treated the illness. After she was cured and off the daily meds, the vet said that she recommended Nekton Bio for her. She especially recommended it for our little Senegal we adopted. She had done a bit of plucking, due to her previous living conditions. She had no toys or proper socialization. Our Avian vet said sock it to her with the Nekton Bio. Which we did. She stopped plucking and where the follicles weren't damaged she got her feathers back. She still has a bald spot around her neck area that will never grow back. I have to also add that she, since we brought her home, has plenty of stimulus to keep her busy. She has a bigger play area than my macaw!! and she uses it all!!! Ask your vet before using.
