Great Game
If you're looking for something a little different, and enjoy mystery books and movies then this game is for you. I'm all about funny mystery books like the Evanovich series so having this as my first DS game was a great start. Don't get me wrong i love the Sims, Zelda and other classics but somtimes you want something more. The characters are fun and pretty in depth. The cases aren't insanely hard but just enough to make you say," Why didn't I realize that 10min. ago?" I ended up purchasing this game due to the great reviews everyone else had so thanks for the truthfull responses and I hop this review helps someone else make a choice.

Games that are good for kids
Great game for my grandson. He went on line and choose these games. It is nice to see there are games out there that are not as terrible to play. I like that it is a learning game in a sense.

The second installation of the Ace Attorney series does not disappoint as Phoenix Wright encounters new and old friends and foes alike, including the first appearance of the ever-adorable Pearl Fey. As always, this game is full of humor but also challenges your ability to catch the details and apply them to the situation. It also features Phoenix's new "ability," using the Magatama to unlock "Psyche Locks" that characters place on questions or topics that are extremely sensitive - basically you have to show enough evidence (amount corresponds to the number of locks) to contradict the character's claims before you can even begin interrogating them about that particular subject. The gameplay is the same, with an interchange of investigation, where you "explore" different locations, examine objects, and speak to witnesses, and trial, where you cross-examine witnesses and present evidence. For those of you who might have had the same criticism that I had about the first game in the series, that defense attorneys were glamorized and prosecutors exaggerated as physically violent or incompetent villains, "Justice For All" does at least address the negative connotation of being a defense attorney (though the resolution was still a bit "idealistic fairyland" for me).

Mr. Correct continuings again
The Birdie Correct Series continuings with the sequel to its original with Righteousness for Everypersons. In this sequel, we continuings to follow the misadventures of Birdie Correct as he truthdefendings his clients from allegations most foul. Though in my personal opinioning, this particular game of the series consistinglies of more "meh" casinglies (especially one particular casings, which due to spoilerinos, I will not divulge), the main highlight of Righteousness for Everypersons more than fixing-ups for its flaws. The turnabouts of the final casings especially is particulary noteworthings and filled with much surprisings.Iffings, howevering, one is anti-excited about the previous iterations of Birdie Correct, then I, with most disappointinglies, will informing that the gameplay for the mostinglies, remains parallelsimilar, and suggestings person to look elsewhere.Howeverings, in my thoughtfeelings, the story in this Birdie Correct game is still as anti-liquid as ever and the gameplay remainering fun, so will recommendings this game for any who enjoyings stories and puzzlings (or at least, mystery/"whodunnit" games).

Great game marred by rough edges
After playing the original Phoenix Wright, I looked forward to playing this game. It being a lawyer game, and while the rules are (I think) based on the Japanese criminal court system (hence it works differently from American court system), it is more of an adventure / detective game, which was refreshingly different in the current state of gaming. And it delivers, for the most part. The "psyche-lock" and the inclusion of people (instead of only evidences) adds challenge to the game, which is not a bad thing at all. The gameplay is addictive, if linear (and I don't see anything wrong with that). Many familiar characters return and, if this is your first game in the franchise, don't worry; the first episode will be enough to keep you up to speed in most parts (although I suggest you play the first one first). Now, on to grudges. The game is mostly well-made, partly because the same game has been made not one, but two times in Japan (and that should, naturally, have completed its debugging process). There is one thing that Japanese people had no control over, and that is localization. The second game gives quite a bit to be desired in that department; this game's format requires it to have a top-notch translator with excellent grammatic correctiveness and ability to localize things that would make more sense in different cultures. The first game did that very nicely. I could not come across substantial amount of grammatical errors, punctuations were right on, and s/he did a nice job of renaming Maya's favorite food to hamburgers. Well, for this game, her love for hamburgers continues, but punctuation is a mess, there are typos every which way, grammatical errors are so prevalent that copy editors would form at their mouths, and localization, while nicely attempted, just is not up to par.For your enjoyment, be prepared for a bit of Engrish and grammatical errors. After that, you'll be home-free to enjoy one of DS's (otherwise) best games.

So stupid
I was looking for a fun investigation game and tried this one. This game is so stupid. Don't even bother. I did try another, "Touch Detective" and although it's probably aimed towards a younger player, it is fun and very cute. The "CSI: Dark Motives" game is fun too. Stay away from Ace Attorney though, it is just absurd.
