I love mac and cheese .this is a definite #1 in my kitchen.

I love shells and cheese! This is my American food guilty pleasure so I limit myself and make sure it's only an occasional special treat. Also because it's an import the price on it is very high. It's unfortunate because it really is delicious, there's a lot to be said for the soft, flavoursome packet of velveeta cheese. It's head and shoulders above any crumbly packet of yellow that you find in other brands more easily available. Though to be fair if this were widely available at all the shops I'd be completely unhealthy from buying it all the time so maybe better this way!

I had high hopes for this, as I had seen many reviews online saying this is the best or one of the best mac and cheeses. I love Kraft mac and cheese and so I wanted to try this. The sauce is honestly vile, I know the cheese is meant to taste fake but the sauce was so thick and tasted gross. Felt like I was eating puke. The smell is absolutely vile too.

They are actually really tasty. I’ve tried multiple different Mac and cheese brands and flavours and this if my favourite this far!

I’ve been on a little bit of a boxed mac and cheese binge recently and have been trying ones from all over the world so took a recommendation from my American friends to try velveeta shells and cheese. Now, I’m a big Kraft mac and cheese fan but I was told this is far better so I had to buy it. Initially the box feels a lot larger than Kraft, it’s a hefty box. It recommends 3 portions but I imagine Kraft recommends the same. Cooking wise, this is a lot easier than Kraft as you don’t need butter and milk. The packet that comes with the shells is a pre mixed sauce so you just stir it in. Now, I’m aware that boxed mac and cheese isn’t exactly the best mac and cheese in the world but I’m reviewing it for what it is. I was sorely disappointed with this mac and cheese. The flavour was kind of sour and not very cheesy. The sauce had a strong artificial taste but not in a Kraft Mac and cheese kind of way. Maybe the butter and milk is what makes Kraft better? Maybe it’s just what I’m used to? I have no idea but I struggled to eat this. It wasn’t a pleasant taste at all. I imagine that buying this in the US is relatively cheap but buying from Amazon ramps the price up significantly. If the product was good I wouldn’t have minded but it just really wasn’t worth the price. I highly recommend the Cheetos Mac and cheese however. Bold and cheesy and jalapeño are really good boxed mac and cheese and don’t cost nearly as much as this. Definitely worth a try if you’re a boxed mac and cheese fanatic like myself.

Absolutely awful do not whatever you do buy and eat this. If you have bought it throw it away immediately. Do not under any circumstances eat it.
