Its compact, yet holds the watch and the base doubles a cradle for the phone. I like that it is slim and when the watch is on the charger, you can see the watch face at night. (may have to tap the watch to get display up). The phone cradle on the base is smart and the phone screen can be faced away from you at night.The base is slightly weighted which adds to the stability. It will not tip over - promise.Surprisingly, it travels well. Just remove the stand from the base and slip in your bag, leaving the charging cord attached. Then just put stand back on base at hotel or wherever you are and it's back ready to work.We have two (2) and recommended to several friends who also bought multiple stands. The first time I saw this Charging Dock, I thought it was very attractive, and thought that it would add to the aesthetics of my desk setup. Installation was very easy, and I love how the extremely long cable that ships with the apple watch wraps around the core of the post and is hidden from sight. Also the base is designed for you to place your smart phone for charging by attaching an an addtional cable. I must point out that the magnetic charging cable is not included with your purchase so you must use the one that shipped with your apple watch. You can also rotate the charging post 90 degrees in each direction giving you 4 viewing angles. Now if you attach your apple watch on the magnetic port and it doesn't make a good connection, they have included a spacer that will cause the magnetic port to make better contact with your watch. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now.....I like it !

It's a nice stand, and not outrageously priced. It's well-weighted with a base large enough not to be knocked over. A very clean, elegant design. It incorporates the charging cable that comes with your Watch. Much of the cable is then concealed within the two-piece post. Rubber feet and the stand's weight keep it in place, and it will support any Watch easily.Though the stand could easily and quickly be separated into two pieces for travel, you'd probably want to get another charging cable, and maybe a more portable stand.It's simple to use. Just take your Watch off, set it on the top, letting the Apple charging magnet capture it. Done. The only thing easier than this would be just dropping it on a table or nightstand. And I won't do that.The front of the base has a lip which will hold any iPhone and case in place. That's ANY iPhone and ANY case. However, it doesn't provide any charging for the phone. It's a stand, not a dock. You can keep a charging cable handy and plug it in and put the phone on the stand.With watchOS 2.0 and the Nightstand mode, this stand is equally convenient for Watches with bands or bracelets.

This is a nice stand. It's got great cord management. And works great with the regular watch bands. With the metal link bracelet the watch is heavier and while it does work fine, it doesn't take much to knock the watch off and cause it to fall to the base. And with all the reports of the Apple watch screen shattering from short falls to a hard surface I got paranoid about breaking my watch and quit using this. I don't know of any reports where someones watch broke as a result of falling off the top of this, but I just didn't want to be the first one. If it were about half the height I would feel better about using it.And both my wife and I loved the fact that we can sit our phones on the stand in the horizontal position to watch a video while going to sleep if we wish. And we still use it for that actually. But I think I will be getting Apples charging stand for my watch with the link bracelet. I would like for the watch to rest fully on something. With either of these stands the band is suspended behind the dock. But no matter what I would prefer to have a dock than not having one.

I love this stand - sturdy and substantial, watch charging disk fits in perfectly. Love simply reaching over and plunking my watch on there to charge. I have the Milanese Loop band, no problems whatsoever with the watch not seating properly on the charging disk or the weight making it slide off the disk as others have mentioned. I love the angle it holds my phone at night because I keep an alarm clock app on dim all night, and is a quick glance if I need to check the time. Even though it doesn't actually incorporate the phone charger in the stand, it's no big deal to plug the phone in at night and to just loop the lightening charger around the post during the day. Has solved the cable mess on my nightstand. Very definitely recommend!

This Apple Watch stand consists of 3 parts: a rubber core and a plastic shell that make up the post, and a weighted base. The heft is good overall but not enough to avoid accidental tipovers. I bought this for the cable management feature. See, you can wrap the Apple Watch's long charging cable around the rubber core which has grooves going down its column. The problem is these cores are really shallow and Apple's cable is thick, so you need to wrap the cable VERY TIGHTLY around the core or the core won't be able to go back into the post shell! I took me a long time to get it right; there was absolutely no tolerance for any slack in the wrapped section! This was super annoying. They really could have made the grooves slightly deeper to accomodate the high quality thick cable Apple gives us.

I've use this charging dock since more than a year now and I am completely satisfied. I had two problems with my Apple watch cable: like many Apple cables can easily break and it is a very long cable. Well, this charging dock solved both those problems. It is good looking and it stands next to my bed where i can easily put my apple watch to charge overnight. It is solid and build of good materials and the central part can be separated from the base and carried with you when you travel (in case you do not have a spare apple watch cable)

Very slick. Does the job of charging the phone very well. Base is very heavy and solid and the rubber underside prevents it slipping. It is a bit fiddly first time you use it as you have to feed your circular charging disk through the column to sit in the recess on top. Then you have to wind the remaining cable into a spiral groove inside the column. You then slide this inner column back into the outer casing and the white cable is completely concealed within, coming out through a slot in the base. You can leave as much or as little cable out as you need.The iPhone sits very nicely on the base, leaning up against the column. I tend to rotate the column 90degrees so that the iPhone stands up against the side as if you have it as shown in the photo, the strap of the watch covers the face of the iPhone. The column and base can be positioned as you prefer.There are two very minor negatives.1) If you want to travel with your watch and you have only this charger, it is very fiddly to take the charging cable in and out. I travel frequently and have therefore taken to putting the whole thing in my luggage, and it is a bit heavy to take on flights.2) If you use vibrate with your phone alarm, it makes the strangest sound as it goes off if on this stand. I have vibrate on all the time, so don't want to turn it off just for the occasions when I am using the iPhone alarm, so I tend to leave the phone lying on the bedside table.

You may think this is a little on the pricey side, in my view its an excellent product and well worth the money.It was easy to put together, the cable tidy system is excellent although you do need to pull the cable quite tight around the winder so that the outer case will slide back on easily but its not an issue at all.Of course looks and design are a personal choice but it looks great on my bedside unit with the Watch sitting firmly on its magnetic charger. The watch can also be placed on the dock in either landscape or portrait orientation with no fear of it falling off. If you have the edition version of the watch theres even a bung that helps to raise the charger head. It has a large and quite heavy base so unless you're rather clumsy its not likely to fall over. That said mine is placed well away from the bed in case I happen to knock it when I get up but that advice would apply no matter what stand you might choose.

Really like the stand. It did take a very long time to come in (months) but I pre-ordered it and that is the risk you take. (That said, I was preparing to cancel the order within a couple days when it did finally turn up. Simple and effective solution has restored a decent amount of space to my nightstand (the stand allows you to set a phone on the base leaning against the pillar... so you don't have the phone and the watch laying flat on the night stand)

I'd say this item is very nearly perfect.My only gripe is trying to wrap the cable into the tower, it took a number of attempts and I was constantly worried that I'd break the expensive charging cable (not cheap to replace).Once sorted, it looks as you'd expect and sits nicely on my bedside table charging both devices.The watch goes on extremely easy and hasn't fallen off (or even looked like it would).Great product.

I am still using this now - I brought it when the first Apple Watch came out and I am on the third generation! What an excellent piece of kit.

Absolutely love this for my i Watch. It's magnetic so it holds the watch in place. When you want it, you just lift your watch off, the base is strong and sturdy and doesn't come up as you lift. Highly recommended!

I bought these because of the simple, functional design, and was pleasantly surprised to find the installation process very well thought out, and the manufacturing and materials quality fairly high. If you like the look, there's no reason at all not to get them.

Excellent quality and build. The stand can also be used to mobile phone which is a bonus. The stand allows for the excess cable to be wrapped discreetly although I found this difficult to do. Would definitely recommend the stand to others that are considering purchase.

Easy to use and is weighted sufficiently so it doesn't fall over or move about. Easy enough to place the apple watch on the stand and remove it once charged. Can also be used for nightstand mode if needed.

Perfect stand, really smart and tidy! Bit of a problem that the wire wraps around the inside of the stand so there's not much lead left so needs to be close to the plug socket, but can't complian for the amazing price
