The LED light bulbs automatically sync with the free downloadable Smart Lights app for iOS and Android devices. The Smart Lights app allows you to program and customize light bulb settings based on brightness, light names, group names, room names, locations, ramp times, and schedules for significant energy savings and smart energy usage. The smart light bulbs are designed to emit the same warm white omni-directional light patterns as a 40 Watt incandescent bulb, and it can monitor its own power usage. Installing and using the light bulbs takes three minutes or less: install the bulb, download and launch the app, and begin programming and controlling. You will be able to control your connected lights from approximately 200 feet away (dependent on the amount of walls and wall thickness) and the pre-programmed proximity control feature turns the bulbs on automatically when you are nearby.
