I enjoy spur of the moment hiking whether it is on my own or with my partner, and sometimes when we are out for a few days, it's nice to take a break from the big pack and just go for a day or overnight with the essentials. This bag was perfect in size and utility, and did take up much room in my pack, to achieve all this and more. It is light but durable and holds more than enough for two comfortably for an overnight trip.I also found a second use for the bag, As a dad with 2 small kids, you are always looking to save room where possible, as they have so much stuff but you sometimes need a quick go bag. This is one I can keep in the car for trips to the beach, the park, or to visit Grandma. This was not what I bought it for, but have found it immensely useful for this purpose.It is great as a regular day pack, but the ability to pack it away so small adds so much usefulness to me

Bought this last minute for a trip to Cancun, MEXICO. I used it as my airplane carry on and the entire time we were on the beach or doing excursions.Pros:Really like the top patch pocket. Good size and secure.Lots of room inside.Lightweight, lots of areas to attach things or attach the bag to a chair while you got to the ocean. My sons water wings we just looped through the clips on the side.Cons:Not very water resistant.The front lower patch pocket, be careful opening because it opens all the way and if it’s loaded full your Stuff can just fall out while it’s open. That happened to me. Wallet fell out. Luckily I brought a carabiner clip so I attached that to the little looped that pocket and looped my wallet through it.

I took this as my carry-on on a plane and on my cruise and used it for going to the pool and to the beach, etc.Pros:~ It is INCREDIBLY light-weight!~ It fits a LOT of stuff in it!~ It folds up into a reasonably small square, though I have bags that fold much smaller (not backpacks, though!) easily - I only folded it after arriving home and it was super easy.~ Looks nice - I got black and it has a little neon yellow patch on it so it's easy to identify.~ Has a chest-clip, which is really nice if you have a lot of weight in there.~ It never felt like I'd overloaded with weight - I wasn't worried that the fabric or stitching couldn't handle what I had in there. (Granted, it was not jam-packed or overly heavy but I would have been confident putting quite a lot more in there.)~ The two netted side pockets were super handy for my kids water bottles and/or sunscreen.~ The bag is reasonably comfortable to wear as long as it's not scraping against your skin. There is slight padding in the straps and they are adjustable for length. Add the chest clip and it'd be pretty comfortable without the mesh/netting!Cons:~ The "netting" on the inside of the shoulder straps was super irritating to my shoulders. I was on a cruise so I had bare shoulders (swim suit, tank tops) and it was quite uncomfortable. Much better on plane rides where I had at least a t-shirt on but even then it was still irritating to me.~ I'd love a few more pockets. In the big compartment there was a slot where I slid in 3 tables of various sizes (one 10", one 8" and one 7" - all Samsung). There were two smaller slip-slots on the opposite side of that but they didn't hold much. In the smaller compartment there was a netted zip area and a space to slide a phone or tablet behind plus the area in front of the netted pocket. (Note that things could easily fall out of that area as it opens most of the way.) There was also one smaller zip pocket at the top on the outside which was handy for our passports and ID's as we went through security. I had to keep having my husband get things out of it because it was irritating to my shoulders to pull it on and off. It would have been nice to have a couple more zip pockets, maybe on the inside of the big compartment area?Overall, it's a good, sturdy bag for being so lightweight (it is floppy so when I say "sturdy" I mean well-constructed) but it depends on what you're using it for and how you're dressed when using it. I don't have sensitive skin so that's not the problem. If you're wearing a bulky sweatshirt this will probably work just fine and it has some good features. If I were to buy a similar bag I might look for a bit more bulk to have shoulder pads without the netting/mesh on the inside.

I'm one of those people that loves to carry a backpack when traveling. It's great for carrying things like snacks and water, or an umbrella or even carrying souvenirs. I used to wear my normal backpack all the time, but it got heavy over time and would make my back sweat a lot. I decided to try this bag out. This bag is awesome. It folds up very easily into the zippered pouch so it is very easy to transport. Once unfolded, it has good support for the items in it and is very lightweight. For being such a small bag it can hold a good amount of items. The only downside is that because of how thin it is, you have to be careful how you place certain items in it. Otherwise you may experience something jabbing you in the back.

So bought on a whim to replace backpack that broke on my trip. Wanted something I could pack in my bag for small trips while on a trip. I wasn't expecting much but completely surprised when it performed as well as it has. Have had it very loaded and it is still holding up amazingly. Once pockets and material, light and folds up. I did a three day tip with it and it packed all I needed. I do wish the straps had a bit more substance, would be a bit more comfortable and I wouldnt be nervous that it might break with the heavy loss I have put in it. The front small pocket would be nice to have a double zipper so as to unzip from the top...but hey, 15 bucks...very happy

Really liked this product when I first started using it. Bought it for a trek. It worked perfectly as a daypack for light items needed on the trail. I liked that it has plenty of pockets, design is simple but pragmatic. My major disappointment was with the pockets on the side with are made of mesh. I used one to hold my water bottle. After a few days it began to rip (see photo). Fearing it would completely gave way and i could lose my bottle without knowing, i ended up having to to hook the bottle which caused it to move and clank making it very noisy and uncomfortable. The designers should have made at least one of the side pockets with the same canvas as the rest of the bag. Also, it is not 100% waterproof. I used it the rain and had my passport and money inside. They ended up moist. I had to dry them out and store in ziplock. Clothes did not get wet but I would not recommend using this product in rainy situations. Otherwise, it is a great buy.

For the price, less the import fees of $9.50 it is a good value. It's sturdy, the side pockets fit a nalgene water bottle and there is a compartment in the inside that fits a water reservoir no problem. ( you just have to run the hose out the zipper as there is no hole for it ). It also has a whistle clip, which is a bonus.The outside has all of the organizational compartments, where you can keep your valuables for easy access. The shoulder straps are sturdy, and the bag is light and very compact. I bought it to use as a day bag, and was able to put it in my main backpack on our adventure. I would have given it a 5 out of 5 if it would have had a zipper compartment on the inside, and it they would have made a two way zipper on the main bottom compartment.
