I purchased this because I live in an apartment and want to have somewhere for my puppy to go during inclement weather and while I’m at work. My puppy is a 4 month-old 5lb mini Schnauzer. I walk/run her 1-2 times a day, never less than 20 minutes each, and have started taking her outside to go potty after meals when I’m home.Based on other reviews saying the fake grass that came with this did not fit exactly on the filtering tray, I purchased the wee wee replacement grass patch to place on the tray. After I got my puppy to stop trying to chew and scratch the fake grass (oh, the patience one learns!), I realized the patch did not filter the urine down into the tray at all. I only noticed because my puppy’s paws ended up disgustingly wet and she hated being on it (when I would place her on it, she would immediately lift up some paws, move as little as possible, and her demeanor seemed uncomfortable). I then tried the artificial grass that came with the product but, confirming other reviews, it was not a good fit for the tray and her paws would still end up wet. I ended up removing that too and stayed with just the filtering tray. She doesn’t mind the holes, and I’ve successfully gotten her to pee on it and is now trained in that. However, while she has pooped on the tray, she in general does not like pooping on it because it’s too small even for her to comfortably circle and sniff (and when she does go on it, she almost always stands on a corner and the poop falls outside the tray). The urine usually filters down into the grooves of the bottom tray, keeping her paws almost completely dry. I immediately pick up her poop the moment I see it. My apartment is small, and I’ve not noticed a bad urine smell unless I am near the tray in a low position.When it comes to cleaning the tray, I use gloves and a brush to clean everything including the handles locking the filter mesh into place and the bits of poop stuck between the holes of the mesh. I do this mostly once a week, sometimes 2x. This process is not as practical/easy as I would prefer and I have to be careful when picking the dirty tray up so the pee won’t spill out. However, I have not yet seen another potty system that works for me (I refuse to use training pads because I find them disgusting and my puppy loves chewing paper). In conclusion, it works well enough but I still wish there were something slightly bigger, portable, and easier to clean.

I read all of the reviews and decided to buy this tray and use my own “grass” pad after hearing how terrible the one is that comes with it. But nowhere did I see that the grass is literally the same material as the grass used in Easter baskets! Yep, look how shiny it is. This picture is right out of the box. The amount of debris / loose bits the grass has already generated before arriving would concern me too. I don’t need my puppy eating weird stuff.I am going to keep it because we have an old man who pees in the house and I’m trying to get him to use faux grass spots we’ve placed around the house. The size and design seems good if you need a tiny spot and plan to use pads or your OWN fake grass. But I only have three stars because they REALLY need to upgrade their mats. IMO, what they send is dangerous for dogs.

This is a basic product, when i need to clean the floor and i am worried that my dog can lick the floor soap, i put my dog on his cage but sometimes my dog pee so i need something so that the dog don't get dirty that is why i bought this, i put this inside the cage and if my dog pee when i put her inside the cage, the urine goes to the bottom of the product and that helps in keeping my dog dry if anybody have the same problem this maybe can help, the product is small so this will be useful only for small dogs, God blesss everyone !

I kinda like it... moreover I'll deal w. It.Cons: My puppy gets pissy paws every time he goes since the pad is not fast drying, or drying at all for that matter.The turf is not super absorbent, pee soaks in a little and the rest sits on the top of the grass pad. As if the grass is 50% moisture resistant. There are no holes in the pad so you have to tilt the entire thing over to force the pee into the collecting tray😩. Even tried dabbing it w. A puppy pad or cloth towel, but its still soak and wet.Pros: Poop is a breeze to clean.Small enough not to take up too much space, but large enough for my 4lb fur baby to have a few different location options to go potty on the pad. Grass easy to clean as well as collecting tray. Light weight. Preparing him for going potty outside on the real grass in a few weeks.Personally, i put news paper in the collecting tray (very bottom tray), and i used a small piece of double sided tape underneath the 4 corners of the grass pad. I know my 14w old Pomeranian Yorkie puppy likes to chew on the unthinkable, so to prevent him from dragging the grass off the tray i decided to tape it down.So far so good, just hate that the pee doesnt dry OR go into the collecting tray on its own.

I should have returned it. Puppy did like to lay on it while chewing on toys.

Very awesome and easy to us. My yorkie puppy has been doing amazing on this potty station. Put it is small

i actually bought it for a cat that refused to use litter .i now have it placed where she liked to go .pretty much daily it has been used but the last two nights as a bed for one of my other cats .what is he thinking ? the base is quite sturdy but the grass is of the cheapest kind and every time it is washed out i have to retrieve bits of it from the tub . the ist few times i thought it would end but so far it has not after about 2 weeks of daily washing . i am saving on paper towels thou . price verses quality, i think it is much sturdier a base then i would have guessed and although made so you can remove the top of it , i just wash the whole thing in one move to the tub . has not spilled on floor yet .

My two small puppies like to chew the outside of it and the grass from the top of it. They do occasionally Pee and poop on it.

The media could not be loaded.  Muy bien la base, con la parte intermedia, pero el trozo de césped es verdaderamente ridículo, no cubre toda la base, se mueve de su lugar al meterse mi perrita. Tengo otros pastos entrenadores y este es el peor en cuanto al pasto. La base se se Hera a la parte intermedia sin embargo el trozo de pasto es tan de lago que no hay manera de mantenerse en su lugar

Product is very small. The tray is well made and easily taken apart for cleaning. You do get a fair amount of grass pads with the item. However, the grass pads are very cheap, flake of easily and my dog is not interested. Tray is worth it but will need to change the pads to something less messy that your dog will like.

No lo compren. El material de "césped" sintético es un porquería. Desde que abrí el paquete me di cuenta de que no debí comprarlo, su filtro pesa más una magitel que eso. Pésima calidad y OJO sin opción a poder regresarlo aunque nunca se haya utilizado. Atención Amazon, retira este producto. EXIJO LA DEVOLUCIÓN DE MI DINERO. Ah y solo viene esa porquería de "césped" no las seis que dicen. Y el costo de la importación es del 50% del producto. ES UN ROBO!

First thing I saw when I opened the box was a cancer warning that was NOT listed on the online description anywhere. I attempted to return the product immediately (unusued of course) but they refuse to accept a return. “This item does not qualify for a return/refund”. Mine will be going straight in the trash. What a waste of money!
