87085 Weathering Master C Set

Wondered for years how model makers got such nice weathering on model kits - a little research led me to this! After practicing on some scrap plastic, I was eager to get to work. I have never been more impressed with a model-making product. Applies beautifully - I preferred the more arrow-like brush that's included - the other brush seemed useless in my opinion. It helped create PERFECT rust streaks which I did with a steady hand. Cleans up well, dries nicely - I didn't even see a need for a sealer like I thought it'd need, unless maybe the model is going to be handled a lot.

I started building a 1:35 scale, WW2 diorama in January and wanted to try some different weathering and wash techniques. I've always had good experience with Tamiya products so I assumed this weathering kit would be great as well. I chose weathering set "C" first because I wanted to use the all 3 colors included in different parts of my model and was very satisfied with the results by using the applicator included. I worked an allot of different techniques and ways to apply this product and used it on different parts of my diorama such as the fence, mud on the jeep, foliage, ground, weathering, rubble, etc. This is sort of a different way of applying weathering as compared to spraying washes with an air brush but is way easier, less trouble, less mess and takes allot less time for certain effects. I was so satisfied with the result of this set that I recently ordered sets A, B, D, E and F. As for the shipment and packaging....The set arrived on time and was packaged well.

The kit definitely isn’t only good for metal or diecast parts It is very good for fabric or really anything you can get your hands on I used it to weather or dirty up one of my favorite 1:6 Figures and I’m very impressed with it At first it looked to orange but over time with age it settled and looks more natural, I was planing on picking up another kit with different colors and testing that out Overall works very well and would recommend

Produit super.... Rien à dire... Qualité Tamiya ... Mais le prix !! Abusé ! Et ce, partout ! Le prix des produits Tamiya, et plus généralement pour le modélisme, de la maquette, est de plus en plus cher au fil des années ! Sachant que les 3/4 des personnes faisant du modélismes, sont rarement des milliardaires ! Mais plutôt de la classe moyenne ! Revoir vos tarifs serait vraiment pas mal
