This is an extremely tight fit on traditional shotguns but they are very comfortable and durable. There is a review with photos on here and that person is a saint, their photos walk you through how to apply it. I was about to throw mine out before I saw that review.

Great build quality and very easy to slip on. I use it for my field gun and it hold up great while not compromising looks of the gone. Top notch value.

I am pretty happy with the amount of padding in this accessory, but the fit is extremely tight. The cloth has some give, but it really should have more. It is made out of something like wetsuit material, and it took me almost five minutes to actually get it on the shotgun stock (Benelli Ultralight). And once there, it was almost impossible to get it aligned properly. Which is what you want, once it's in place, but it is so tight I am afraid the stitches will come undone over time. I was actually afraid of ripping the cloth just trying to get it onto the stock, which tells you how much force was involved. So, all in all, I'm pretty happy with the pad, but if you buy one for yourself, you should realize ahead of time you might need to send it back. Because if your stock is even a few millimeters wider or taller than the Benelli Ultralight, you won't be able to get it on. And in any case, you will have to be careful when you put it on the stock, so you don't tear it.

Put this on a maverick and it fits very well. It's a little goofy looking at the seam stitches on the back and the material is a bit puffy there. Overall, it's better than buying something that has to be trimmed down. It does a good job of helping with recoil from what I've shot so far. The padding is pretty good and overall seems to be built well.

I have one on a single shot 45-70 and a 12 guage single shot 3" magnum. I shoot very heavy loads in both. This little pad saves your shoulder!

Very good pad for the price. Really helped take the recoil out of my Ithaca Featherlight 16 gauge.

its nice but doesnt fit one of the most common guns... The maverick 88 shotgun.
