I heard rattling while the outer shipping box was still sealed -- but when I opened the wooden box, every piece was in its place. A couple of grinding wheels -- 12 of them in one compartment -- were slightly chipped. There appear to be more pieces than are listed on the box; I tried to match everything to it, but was left with at least 5 extra pieces. I also was surprised by the 10 fiberglass cutting wheels (as well as standard wheels) and the three rubber polishing wheels. As a newbie, I didn't realize that rubber or felt polishing tips need a screw-tip mandrel. Without the box, I'd have been stuck with no way to use six expensive little Dremel pads -- without going to the store and paying too much for the extra mandrel. The SE box's Amazon page doesn't come close to describing its contents. The pieces all feel sturdy and secure. A couple of mandrel-mounted grinding stones have drops of glue on the working faces. The wooden box itself is smooth inside and out. Each mandrel fits into its own plastic tube, across two tiers instead of compartments, and the compartments across the front of the box are stuffed solid. This isn't one of those collections that rely on the numbers of sanding sanding bands and sanding disks to hide the lack of variety among the other pieces. I haven't figured out how to stash my not-so-many other rotary accessories in the box. I will.

Wow, what a bargain! I didn't have the highest expectations for this set of rotary tool bits, as I've had mixed results with non-name brands in the past. Each of the bits I've tried, thus far, work perfectly and show no signs of wear after moderate-to-extensive use. It comes with a sensible variety of bits, to cover most jobs. Because of the low price, I don't feel bad leaving this out on the site and letting others borrow bits. Thus far, they have performed as well as the name-brand bits, but at a fraction of the price. The case is fairly good quality. I prefer a composite case, but the wooden case has since grown on me. It's managed to survive two good drops, so far, but I don't think it'll handle too many more bumps. Still, I didn't get this because of the case. Honestly, when I'm on the job, I pull a few bits I think I'll need and carry them in a pouch. As such, this is a great kit for my needs - the bits do the job, and are value priced.

I got this fairly recently so haven't had time to test out every single accessory on something though I eventually intend to do so. At less than half the cost of a similar set of official Dremel accessories, this one isn't too bad depending on which accessories you're most interested in. The first thing that I noticed is that one of the grinding "stone" accessories in the box was improperly glued to it's shaft sideways in such a way that it would wobble like crazy if actually used. But there are a few other aluminum oxide grinding stones of different shapes and this one wasn't a particularly important shape to me, so this didn't bother me that much. The second thing I noticed is that the edges of the box aren't exactly well rounded off and seem likely to give someone splinters. Fortunately though this product comes with the stuff needed to fix this, and I wanted to test out the sanding drum and mandrel anyway. So I went about rounding off the edges and noticed no problems with the included drum mandrel. For the price, these are the sorts of quality issues you can expect, but if 99% of the accessories in the box are good then it's still a good deal. I also used the polishing wheel mandrel with felt wheels, and I think I tested out the machine screw mandrel with a grinding wheel as well. I can't tell the difference between any of these mandrels and the Dremel ones. About the only thing I notice is that the grinding wheels included in the set are every so slightly more coarse-grained than the ones that came with my tool. So though I haven't tested all of them, I'm a little more concerned about the quality of the grinding wheels and other grinding accessories for some applications where a certain fineness is needed like say removing rust from stainless steel so that you can polish it up afterwards. The Dremel wheels I have seem like they'd be a little better for this. The wire and nylon brush attachments also seem of decent quality. I used them for a while with no signs of them flying apart or anything. So despite some quality issues of the sort you might expect (especially with minor stuff like the wood box edges not being rounded off well enough to prevent splinters) this still looks to be a worthwhile set for the price. If it were any more expensive I'd give it 3 stars, and if it were double the price I'd give it 2, but for $15.50 or so enough of the accessories in the set are good enough that the mediocre quality of some of the parts is made up for in overall value.

El estuche no es de la mejor madera pero se ve muy bien y queda perfecto con cualquier estación de trabajo, antes que cualquier otro kit de otras marcas con menos accesorios compraría este. El estuche queda perfecto incluso para grabarlo usando estos accesorios
