Superb quality bag, but it doesn't close as easily as competitor storage bags and seems to attract lint/pet hair
I love the look and feel of this bag, which is made of thick and sturdy material (think canvas). Everything from the overall design down to the details (stitching, etc.) says quality. I personally think this bag is much more attractive that the Lay-n-Go competitor storage bag, which we also purchased. While the Swoop wins for looks, it failed on functionality. As other reviewers have noted, the bag does not cinch up all the way, and even if you can get it most of the way cinched up, there is nothing to prevent the bag from coming open again. We've had quite a few Lego spills as my 5-year-old son has hoisted this up and down the stairs. It can be tricky for tiny fingers to pull the drawstring shut without adult help. Not so with the Lay-n-Go, which my son had no problems closing and opening himself. For me, the worst feature of the Swoop bag is that it shows pet hair and carpet lint so easily. The material is not smooth, but has texture (again, think canvas), and since it is dark navy, every little bit of light fuzz sticks. I don't have the same problem with my Lay-n-Go storage bag, which is made out of smooth nylon. At first I used a lint-roller on my Swoop bag to keep it looking new and clean, and then I just gave up.(P.S. I promise, I don't work for Lay-n-Go, although it probably sounds like I do!)

Very high quality ... will last forever and worthe the extra $'s!
I've had multiple cheaper, polyester style bags like this from Amazon, which have been okay, and I still use, but typically the drawstring will break early on, and the stitching will come loose, and it will gradually 'fail' and need to be replaced in a year or so. Comparing these to the SWOOP bag is like night and day ... the quality is supreme, the draw string isn't going anywhere (thick rope vs. thin nylon cord), the grommets are metal, high quality, and are securely attached to the body of the bag, and to top it all, I've run this through the washing machine a couple of times and it comes out 'like new'. Trust me, worth the few extra $'s.

Got A Billion Lego Pieces? Then Get This
If you've got a kid who's Lego-crazy, then you've probably got a billion Lego pieces in your house and on your floor. There are various storage solutions out there for Legos, mainly involving plastic tubs, which work very well regarding storing Legos, but which are a PITA if you are looking for a specific part - you have no recourse but to dump the whole thing out to find the part you need. This is basically a large round canvas mat with sides that are a few inches wide. You put all the Legos (or whatever other toys you want inside and then pull the drawstrings to bring the sides together forming a large pouch. A simple knot will keep it closed. It is rather bulky when full but it does the job well. And it is easy to transport from one room to another without the pieces spilling out. What I like about it, in connection with Legos, is that it allows you to sort through the pieces easily to find what you need, without spreading everything all over the floor yet with the same ease as if they were spread on the floor. And I find that looking through the pieces that way helps to spark the imagination to create objects not originally thought of, because you can easily see differently-shaped pieces that you might not have previously thought of incorporating into your creation. This item isn't inexpensive, but it is well-made and should last for years and years. I recommend it.

sanity saver!
This is the 2nd Swoop Bag we've purchased, and it has saved my sanity when it comes to my kids and their thousands of Legos. It's big enough that they can spread the Legos out to play on the opened bag - it's not uncommon to have 3 kids clustered around the bag sorting and building. The fact that it takes just a second to cinch the bag up with all the Legos inside saves endless complaints about cleaning up. It's also very sturdy and well made - our bag that we've had for 2+ years looks just like new.We love our Swoop Bags!

High quality and high capacity bag!
We bought this to store the increasingly massive number of Legos my son has been accumulating. It was a little pricey, but definitely has done a great job gathering those suckers. The bag seems high quality and I highly doubt it will tear or rip.

Best LEGO storage
This bag was probably the best purchase I have ever made!!! One downside is my kids own way too many LEGOs so I probably need another but the bag is super sturdy and easy to open and close

Super happy with this bag
I didn't feel stars for educational value was applicable. Nor did I think this "toy" could be considered fun... unless you're an adult. I wish this existed when I was a child. I recently found a large stash of my old legos and I have now passed them down to my children. The only thing I was worried about was finding something to keep them in, or a mat to have on the floor to keep track of the pieces. I read reviews of other bags that had problems with clips and whatnot. This was the one I went for. #1 made in the USA. #2 basic and solid construction. The walls I thought were flimsy to hold up, but it survived my 4 year old. #3 The legos actually stayed in the bag when I "swooped" them up. That part was fun for mommy. #4 My desire to find a suitable mat was satisfied by the bottom of the flattened canvas. Now, there isn't any clasp or clip to keep the canvas shut. So, I have them stored in a large bin. But at least they can grab the rope, pull the swoop out and play. I suppose I could tie the ends of the loops in a bow.... Okay, just tied them in a bow and it stayed shut. Not bad. I won't hang this from a hook because it's rather heavy, but for lighter toys, it would certainly be doable.

Great product for organizing and acceding Lego.
This is one of the best things I have bought for my son. It really is a present for me though.... I hate Lego all over the place so when I want to clean the playroom or when I'm ask my son to clean up he can put all the Lego in the bag quickly. It also makes transporting his Lego easy. Now that he is obsessed with Lego and we have so many more pieces, I would like a larger one. The quality is great and I would highly recommend this to any mom or dad who wants an easy way to contain Lego without making it "unfun" for a kid to play or access it.
