Martin Pring's Introduction to Technical Analysis, 2nd Edition 2nd Edition

I have been a market professional for 40 years and have read most of the technical works going all the way back. This is among the best and the best since technical analysis of Stock Trends by Edwards and MaGee.

This was a great book for beginners- if you are start to read about technical analysis this is great start point but if you already have some experience with trading highly recommend the technical analysis explained

Great information so far. I’m about 2/3 into the book. If your serious about trading, I definitely recommend this for your toolbox.

I know technical analysis very well but never quite knew why it worked. this book goes into the more psychological aspects of why technical analysis helps give edge to a trade. Once never gets certainty nut one can improve odds.

Like the book very much. This is the best book you can ever get in the world after other books.

To everyone who has purchased Martin's latest "Introduction to Technical Analysis", we do apologize for the lack of the link featured on the cover. Unfortunately, as the author, we cannot control what happens to the manuscript or external files promised once a contract is signed by the author and publisher and the work has left our control. Once the author signs over the rights, he loses all rights to the work. Again, the publisher owns these rights legally. Please note we provided the files to the publisher, so they do exist, but were unfortunately left out of the final copy prior to printing.As for our site pring.com hosting the file; we cannot. This is a legal issue and we would be challenged by the publisher for illegally posting copyrighted material.We do hope the publisher will correct these errors when the next printing of the book occurs. However, in it's defense, the book has been updated from the earlier edition which was in print for 15 years and is a great learning tool for beginner technicians!Good luck and good charting! :o)

Just received the book. There is NO CD, DVD enclosed NOR is there any link provided for "Featuring Access to an Exclusive Basics of Technical Analysis Training Video" as shown in red letters and inside the yellow arrow on the front cover of the book. I have checked the author's website and there is no link given NOR is the book even shown for sale on the author's website. I have sent an email asking for the link and will update this review if I receive a reply from the Pring website.Glancing though the book the chapters appear to be in digestible portions and the charts and drawings are clear.Update: It is now Oct 16 and I have still not heard from either Martin Pring via his website email nor McGraw Hill the publisher. It appears neither is interest in their reputation, veracity, or honor. Their word now means nothing. Their inaction has proven that.Shame on Martin Pring. Shame on McGraw Hill.Do not buy this book. You will not be getting what they advertise CLEARLY on the front cover. Enough said.
