This is just what I needed!! I had been having trouble reading books the older I get and this has worked perfectly for me. I like that it fits comfortably around my neck which leaves my hands free to hold my book. I like the 3 different light settings and that it is rechargeable. I like the quality of this product and would highly recommend it!

It works. The magnification is good and the lighting is adjustable. It is very lightweight so easy to hold. I purchased it to read in bed but find holding it upright is cumbersome and awkward. I think reading with your book laying on a table would work if you don't mind holding it.

What a great purchase. I have vision loss and this magnifying panel is so helpful. It is light, easy to hold and has very bright LEDs. It is so much better than over-the-counter reading glasses. I'm impressed with the nice packaging--charging cable and cloth storage pouch are included. I am tickled with my purchase.

Light, easy to hold, this magnifier really works for making it easy to read the very small print in the Norton anthology of theory and criticism – it’s just what I needed. It charged quickly and works better than advertised.

This is a pretty decent Fresnel lens magnifier. Mount Palomar quality optics it ain't, but it gets the job done. The LED lights are strong and disperse light evenly over what you're reading. The ability to select different color temperatures is surprisingly more useful than I would have initially thought.My only significant beef with it is battery life. Don't expect to read for an extended period of time - the battery capacity for that just isn't there. I estimate that at full brightness, I am getting somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes before it's time for another charge. I would have gladly traded a few extra ounces of weight for better battery performance. Charging seems quite slow, though that may be because I let it run down quite a bit before recharging it.So in summary, it's great for reconciling your bank statement, reading an old-fashioned letter, checking prescription labels, etc. But if you're a bookworm, not so much so.

I bought this as a gift for my 93 year old Dad who could no longer see the print to enjoy his fishing magazine. This product is adjustable and allows for hands free reading. It is lightweight & easy to adjust for whatever position needed. The light is clear & does not glare. Works out great!
