A cute book with beautiful pictures. The kind of book a child will learn to read* because the words flow together.*This is not what some call 'reading', but it is the BEST way to learn to read. With words and sentences, not letters.

This was a favorite story that I enjoyed as a child, and the book was also enjoyed by my own children and grandchild. Now, I' ve purchased a new copy as a gift for a first-grader friend (along with a plush kitty to cuddle). I think she'll love it, too!
