This stuff is awesome! Honestly, tastes better than egg. I grate my tofu and just add this seasoning while I cook it.

Turns tofu into Eggs like magic.

I followed the instructions, the 1st time, & it was waaay too salty. I cut back the amount I added after that & usually toss in some onion, veggie sausage, & salsa & it’s great! It really doesn’t “make tofu taste like eggs,” (I only use fresh tofu so maybe that’s the difference?) but it’s a yummy substitute! My omnivore husband, who “despises” (or thinks he does) tofu, not only goes back for seconds when I make it, he usually finishes it off. So, if you’re *expecting* a good breakfast-type vegan food, you will probably like this. If you’re *expecting* eggs, just eat eggs.

Excellent flavor. Great for tofu scrambles. I wish they had smaller bottles though as this usually starts to harden up before I'm half through.

A must in vegan kitchen. It has that creamy flavor that can go on tofu for eggs flavor or sauces for a richer creamy flavor.

It does taste great, although the recommended 3 tablespoons for one block of tofu tastes way too salty. That recommended 3 Tablespoons is 36 times the serving size listed on the label. If you ate the whole block of tofu with the recommended amount of Freshjax, you'd get 72% of your daily allowance of sodium.I get that the 1/4 teaspoon serving size is the required standard serving size for spices. But if I ate enough of the tofu to get just the 1/4 teaspoon serving size at the amount recommended on the label, that would be 1/36th of a block of tofu. Picture making two slices in the top of the block of tofu so it's cut into 9 pieces (3 x 3). Then take one of those 9 pieces and cut it into 4 pieces. Eat one of those 4 pieces. That's what it would take to consume the serving size amount at the recommended "dose."
