Perfect EDC Flashlight
Olight is already a trusted brand and for good reason. This flashlight is only slightly thicker then the AAA battery it takes to power it and not much longer. It's keychain size but is designed to be pocket carried. I chose this light over the numberous other types for the following reasons: 1) Size - i wanted something that could fit in a front pocket and be carried around all day, every day without adding bulk. 2) Functionality - All I needed was a simple on/off. This one has a low beam (5 lumen) and high beam (180 lumen) so that works fine. And BTW, 180 lumens is more then bright enough for the casual use most of us would need a non-tactical light for. I didn't need or want 5 different levels of brightness nor a strobe. This is intended to be used for those times when you simply need to get a beam of light to see dark places better. Simple push button once for low, twice for high, third time for off. Repeat as needed. No memory so will always go low-high-off. 3) Battery - I elected to go with AAA because of the smaller size and knowing this light is not intended to light up a room for extended periods. Buying a light with a recharable battery and USB built in was intriguing but in the end I liked having the versatility of simply popping in a new AAA battery which could be purchased at any number of stores without worrying about having a recharge source. 4) Versatility - I often find myself crawling under a car, searching for something that fell under my car seat, or other times when having two hands free is ideal. The two-way clip was a great feature for attaching to the bill of a baseball cap or shirt pocket. A removable clip that could be turned around was also an option, but continous removal and reattaching both scratches up the housing and can possibly loosen the clip itself. 5) Durability - Riding around in a pocket all day with a knife, keys, pen, phone, etc it was going to get banged up a lot. The housing needed to be rugged but lightweight, the clip needed to be strong but flexible, and the overall construction needed to be tight without feeling like it would fall apart. The machined aluminum is very high quality and the specs are very tight...everything fits together precisely. This flashlight checked all the boxes and more. At $19.95 each on Amazon I did feel the price was steep especially when compared with so many other options...including the myriad of chinese knockoffs. What won me over was this light was offered on a lightning deal which knocked 20% off the price. This made it more competative with other options, plus I was getting a trusted brand.

Sweet lil pocket light!
Well this is a cool, well-built little flashlight. It’s a perfect pocket/palm flashlight with two settings. The first click is low, which is proper for finding the keyhole on a dark evening, and the second click is a surprisingly bright and vast blast of light that could disorient or temporarily blind someone. It’s small too. Great EDC flashlight! The packaging is excellent, the build quality is excellent, and the scope and brightness of the second click is impressive. The clip is very solid too. Make sure to stock some AAA batteries! If you use this light a lot (specifically in bright mode) you will burn through batteries quickly. It’s small and slick, and bright and solid. It’s also water resistant. I got it on sale for $12.84, delivered. It’s even rad at eighteen bucks. Quite happy

Great value
The OLIGHT I3T EOS is an exceptional flashlight that has become an indispensable part of my camping and hiking gear. Its compact and slim design belies its powerful performance, making it the perfect EDC (Every Day Carry) flashlight for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone in need of a reliable light source. With a brightness of up to 180 lumens, this flashlight offers more than enough illumination for most tasks, from navigating dark trails to setting up camp at night. The dual-output feature is particularly useful, allowing me to switch between a lower setting for longer battery life and a higher setting when I need more light. This versatility is a significant advantage in various situations, ensuring I'm never left in the dark. The tail switch design of the I3T EOS is another feature that stands out. It provides an intuitive and convenient way to operate the flashlight, making it easy to turn on and off or switch between modes with one hand. This is incredibly useful when I'm carrying gear or need to maintain my grip on something else. Despite its small size, the flashlight feels sturdy and well-made. It's clear that OLIGHT has put a lot of thought into the design and construction of the I3T EOS, resulting in a product that feels reliable and durable enough to withstand the rigors of outdoor use. Moreover, the inclusion of a AAA battery is a thoughtful touch, ensuring the flashlight is ready to use right out of the box. The commonality of AAA batteries also means finding replacements is easy, no matter where my adventures take me. In conclusion, the OLIGHT I3T EOS is a brilliant little flashlight that offers impressive brightness, ease of use, and durability in a compact, EDC-friendly package. Whether for camping, hiking, or just to have in case of emergencies, it's a fantastic tool that I'd highly recommend to anyone in need of a reliable light source.

Pocketability & Reliability – Olight i3T Is Now EDC Essential
I’ll start with this: the Olight i3T punches way above its weight class and has become a staple in my everyday carry. I’d never bothered with a flashlight before—if it wasn’t small enough to forget about, I didn’t want it. This one is that. It’s practical, bright enough for real use, and built like a tank. The lightweight design means I toss it in my pocket without a second thought. That said, it’s not perfect. It has one glaring flaw: it gets hot—fast. Not burn-your-hand hot, but enough to make you pause. I’ve made peace with it by asking myself: How often do I really need a pocket sun? Not often. I keep bigger flashlights in the house and car for extended use. This is my quick backup light, and it excels at that. Oh, and the clip? Solid. Nothing on this thing feels cheap—it inspires confidence against drops and daily wear. 4/5 stars – Minor heat issue, major EDC win.

Great little light
I have several and find these little flashlights very handy and easy to carry. They are not the brightest but more than enough for most tasks, they work every time, take a beating, and will not make you cry if you loose it. I bought a high power rechargeable battery for mine, works very well.

Bright and compact
This little guy is as bright as my large light. I love the clip, if you have a chest pocket or zipper pocket, it makes for a great hands free light when walking at night. It's always good to have a few flashlight

Daily carry must
I think everyone needs this thing, battery life is decent. I use it daily and only replace the boring old double A once a month or so. The two brightness settings are perfect levels, for some things the brightest setting is almost blinding and I love it! This is the absolute perfect EDC light and I've had many to compair. I used to carry a top name in a comparable brand (no names but its the one you're thinking) and I would buy this over that brand without question! Edit: February 2024, I'll never not have this little guy at my side as long as I can. I'm not going to lie and tell everyone I'm some EDC person (full of nonsense) but I will tell you that on the odd day I leave the house without my olight I turn around and go get it. We've been through a lot including nearly straightening out the pocket clip three times and bending it back together with a couple good pairs of short pliers. This has helped me do my normal job, complete projects on my trucks, found my cat during the worst storm we had last year (he's indoor but still great at hiding) and snowblown my driveway clipped to my hat in a blizzard. It's been dropped, slid across the concrete and chucked out of an engine compartment by said engine and I wouldn't change a thing. The dust cap (rubber) over the switch shows almost no sign of wear, the lens is still clear and the body is still blue. The two speed ( sorry, hi and low) is just as bright as the dayvit was new and is a great indicator when the battery is low. I guess all I can say is buy it, heck I just got another myself, not because I needed it, but because I wanted it.

Fantastic! Low weight, small, two modes each ideal for their intended use. Well made!
Fantastic flashlight! Low weight, not even noticeable in a pocket. Low brightness (1st default) is perfect for finding your way around, locating objects, lighting keyholes, Etc. It’s bright enough to be very useful, not so bright to annoy others nor diminish your night vision when your eyes are adapted to dim light. Bright mode is curiously *bright*! You can light a room, discern objects across ½ acre backyard, Etc. It’s a bit amazing frankly! The beam pattern is ideally dispersed – gradually blending from brightest on-center to evenly dimming at the edges. There are NO abrupt changes in the light level. Not measured, but at about 25’ the beam is about 4’ wide and bright. High quality construction is obvious. Back to not noticeable – I once had it in my pajama pocket and forgot, slept all night with it and didn’t notice! The switch is perfect. Not once in three months has it accidently been pressed. Tactile feedback is perfect in feel, and there is a very soft audible click that would not annoy nor give you away. The timing to change modes is very good, never causing frustration. The light doesn’t get hot in use, immediately replacing it your pocket would not be a concern. If it had a low/medium/high configuration I wouldn’t mind, primarily to have medium to still light well and conserve battery power. The clip at first concerned me as it’s removable, but I don’t dare as I fear that process might bend it. The clip doesn’t interfere with daily carry at all and it is very useful with its two-way design. I’ve clipped it to a ball cap without issue – secure, the weight isn’t noticeable, and the switch can be operated with gloves on. I promptly purchased a 2nd one for my wife, and definitely would again! BTW, I’m using Energizer Recharge NiMH rechargeable batteries and performance is fine. One caveat with NiMH chemistry is the output is even until exhausted, then depleted w/o warning (low mode still works, bright changes to strobe). Having a nearby spare battery and keeping your daily carry battery charged solves that issue. I get several weeks of casual use before checking the battery. I don’t miss the lower voltage of the NiMH chemistry as a trade for rechargeability. I use an Opus C3100 that charges NiMH to neary 1.5v anyway, a perfect combination. I keep Energizer Lithium batteries on standby – temperature resilient and long-lasting, on the shelf and in use. I just don’t like having to throw batteries away.
