Just My Luck

Ok if you are in a mood not to use your brain. Why the PG-13 rating....There are some sexual references, several profanities including deity references, low cleavage and a girl in her panties, the use of tarot cards, lots of drinking, a male prostitute and male dancers doing a show, man and woman intimately kissing that don't know one another, and probably a few things I forgot. The redeeming factor of the entire movie was Jake's (Chris Pine) attitude towards life. He was just as happy when every day rained lemons as he was when his "luck" changed and was always perfectly willing to give others a helping hand. While I don't really recommend the movie, if you insist on watching it, you could have a great discussion about this and about whether there really is such a thing as luck! You could really spend your time in a better way....wish I had!

I love acting and fashion that makes this film such a cute like romantic comedy. LL also is a great fun actress that I liked to watch when I was younger this movie just is great when u have time. Freaky Friday's my fav one she’s in but this movie is so cute! And easy to watch not only can u watch it as a younger person but I still think it has its charm when u get older to watch it again. We all know how luck works or it doesn’t work out for us. It’s a great storyline about luck That you can have and maybe give away? Idk, cute and sweet to the point movie!

Just My Luck (starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine) plays with the question of just how much does a person do to create their luck and how much of that good luck is a result of something else. Nonetheless, Lindsay Lohan plays a highly successful and sought after public relations representative/communications associate related who has the golden midas touch when it comes to the professional projects that she works on. As a result, she is living the good life in Manhattan. Jake (played by Chris Pine), on the other hand, is trying his hardest to change his life around for himself and a band that he helped promised to promote. A chance meeting at a New York party/event causes Ashley to unintentionally switch her good luck with Jake. Some examples of Ashley’s luck: ending up with a drycleaned dress that is worn by Sarah Jessica Parker (known for playing Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City) and she wins multiple scratch offs that she enters. There is much more to Just My Luck and is great for those who want to see public relations/communication job themed movies, Lindsay Lohan, or Chris Pine’s acting in action right less than a few years before he starred in the popular re-make of the Star Trek movie series.

So much fun to see how Chris Pine had his own transformation before arriving as the prince in Princess Diaries 2.This movie is so fun, back when we all knew Lindsey Lohan was a good actress. The characters are fun, the bad luck is hilarious, and the ending is completely satisfying.

I received this movie and it takes awhile to get it and when I did get it the disc was loose flopping around in the case so the disc is all scratched up but it plays believe it or not save your money and order through someone else

Watched this for a spur-of-the-moment, guilty pleasure need I had one evening. Probably be a year or more before I do again, because, it's not very good. Shame because Chris Pine is fiiinnneee.

I love the earlier dvds of this beautiful young actress before she wasn't making movies any more. She has such a talent, until her family problems caused her problems. I love her.

Funny, light-hearted movie. Lindsey Lohan and Chris Pine in a comedy which displays Lohan's comedic talent.

Never seen it but a fan of Lindsey Lohan and seen most of her movies I ordered and it was a bit unilateral to freaky Friday as she swaps luck with a guy who’s very unfortunate and it was very funny must see

LL has done better. Not the best rom com out there, but it's okay.

I have to be honest I was disappointed with this movie. I bought it on the basis of two things... Chris Pine and the relation of the movie to How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days.This is more a teenagers movie I'd say than the general rom com that How To Lose A Guy is.I found Lindsay Lohan's acting awful and were it not for the gorgeous Chris Pine I'd have turned it off after half an hour.A decidedly so so movie.

This film may not be the best film I've ever seen but I am a huge Mcfly fan and they are great in this film, it is a story to make you laugh but the plot overall isn't the best, sorry Lindsey but this isn't her best film
