Tactical Led Flashlight Torch, Refun SK98 High-Powered Flash Light, Rechargeable Tac Light, Water Resistant Handheld Flashlight with Zoom Function and 5 Modes(2pcs 18650 Battery and Charger Included)

I bought this XML-T6 flashlight in July 2016 for use as a bicycle front light. I've been using it nearly daily for over 2 years now. I ride all year long in the midwest, so the XML-T6 has been exposed to all kinds of weather. I know these flashlights aren't really designed to be used daily for sometimes hours at a time, exposed to shock,moisture, cold, etc...but this little flashlight has outlasted all other brands that I have purchased previously. Normally, I expect a flashlight to last 10-15 months under the conditions I ride. So far it's been 27 months and it still works perfectly.Over time debris gets caught in the threads affecting the circuit, affecting the reliability of the circuit, but just cleaning the threads with a little rubbing alcohol and a old toothbrush is enough to fix it. Unlike other brands, the Refun push button hasn't started to jam or become defective. The springs are also solidly soldered to the board.I love this litle flashlight. I am going to buy a second one and paint the lens red with a sharpie so I can use it as a rear bike light. Great value for the money. I couldn't be more happy with the product. Edit: The mass is 86 g (no battery) and 130 g with a Samsung 2600 mAH 18650 battery. It's only 4.5 in. long.

This review gets two stars. Why only two? Because this seller sold me a Lattice Bright knockoff rather than a genuine Cree XML-T6 LED. (See attatched photo.)The only redeeming factor to earn a second star, is the pill inside the flashlight is a bit better than most SK98 lights out there. The floor the LED sits in isn't completely solid, but it has more surface area than other floorless pill SK98s. I modded my light with a Qlite 7135*8 3.04a driver, and a REAL Cree XM-L2 U4 1C LED. What a differance!

This is an excellent flashlight that you may want to have while going camping, photographing (my primary goal), or fishing. It is made of aluminum that is light enough not to break your arms, but heavy enough to let you sense that you have dropped it.-- The flashlight gives off neutral white light (this is important to photographers).The flashlight is compact enough to fit within your palm-- It is about 5 inches long.-- The surface of flashlight is providing an excellent grip to prevent you from loosing it in the dark. To make it harder to loose, the flashlight has the opening to attach the cord (I use the sport shoelace), which allows you to secure the item and prevent the loss. Just put the cord around your neck (my favorite option as photographer) or your arm.FOCUSING:You have to move the head of flashlight back and forth to focus the beam - to make it smaller and more intense or to make it wider – NO ROTATION movement required - just pull away from yourself or bright it backThe flashlight is bright enough to see illumination from flashlight even in the room that is bright-lit by indirect sunlight. However, on the surface directly lit by sunlight you would not see any differences (shall we call it nuisance or irrelevance? I opted for second option).-- If you "focus" the beam, you would be able to see the light from Refun SK98 on your neighbor's house directly across two-way street (about 150 feet). If you need to lit something beyond that range – make sure that you are buying the flashlight with more that one diode.The flashlight has five options: high / middle / low / strobe / or SOS (particularly useful to fishermen and the like) - just slightly press the ON/OFF button and you will see the differences.Finally: Please, keep in mind that this flashlight requires the use of 18650 battery, that has longer live and can be re-charged. It is NOT AA-battery, as it is bigger than the regular AA-battery AND requires different recharging unit. If you do not have one yet, then I suggest you buy the flashlight with the charger and two batteries.BOTTOM LINE: I would strongly recommend this product

This is a great little light. It's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand or carry in a pocket, although I had to loosen up the clip tension a bit. That was easy, I just removed the two screws holding it and bent it a bit, then remounted it. As it comes, the clip is a bit too tight and it's difficult to slide over a pants pocket. Or if you wish, this clip can be removed altogether. The light is small enough that it can be carried down in a pocket. The light is extremely high quality, well-machined from aluminum, and is finished nicely. The (supplied) Refun batteries are circuit-protected and hold a large charge of 4000 mah. The tail button turns the light on and cycles it through the 5 different modes. With the barrel in the shortest position you get an extremely bright 'flood' of light that easily lights a dark room. 'Zoom' the barrel as far forward as it will go and the light concentrates down on a much smaller spot. I didn't check to see how far that spot will shine, but it's extremely bright. Can you buy a better, or brighter light? In my opinion, not for the money. This is a high-quality item that will please any flashlight junkie.

I like the light, it works great; bright, I like the focus/zoom, the battery life is sufficient and the different brightness settings adjust at a feathers touch once on! It would be a five for me but I hate when they make a great product in the functions that you need, then on the features that you like that set it apart and make you chose it (for me; the pocket clip) is totally cheap. Two screws that come loose upon use, require a tiny Alan wrench to tighten (not included), and need constant tightening.. On the other third tightening one of the screw heads broke off, leaving the threaded end in the hole..... Now only after a month, it is only a few walks away from being a bottom of the pocket light...... Booooooooooooooo!!!!
