Does it smell like Wintergreen/Rootbeer/Licorice?

No, it doesn't smell like Wintergreen, Rootbeer or Licorice. It has a very light pleasant clean smell. Not at all heavy. This is good stuff.

Hold do you keep in from drying out without using a shaving container?

I do let dry out all my tallow shaving soaps and put it back into the paper packaging. I don't want any mold on mine. I would want to keep it wet, because it will degrade.

Does this shave stick come in a holder/container ? Or is just wrapped like Arko ?

I don't know how Arko is wrapped, but the Palmolive stick is wrapped in foil with a plastic ring-like holder attached at the bottom.
