A Classic!

You probably know the story. This is an excellent movie and possibly the best of the 3.

I grew up during the time of Karate Kid and the Goonies, in a time where childhood was not all about texting and fortnite, but yet, we played outside and loved watching TGIF fridays, or when our parents would take us to see a movie. I had always loved "The Karate Kid" as it is probably one of my favorites from growing up.My youngest son is now 11, and has been walking around with a thick shoelace tied around his head. (Why, I have absolutely no idea) It reminded me of Daniel, and I felt compelled to sit down with him and watch the Karate Kid. And let me tell you, he absolutely loved it, and knew there were 2 movies after the first and insisted on watching the next one.He was beyond upset Alli wasn't in this movie, but still loved everything about the movie. I loved it too. Back in the day when movies were great, and you didn't have to worry about what your child is watching. Although very different from the first one, which will always be my favorite, I was absolutely in love with this one too.I remember being a young girl and being in love with Ralph Macchio. He was my first love, followed by Luke Perry (Dylan McKay). Wow, watching this with my little boy brought back so many memories from my childhood. I think parents who were kids during this time should watch these movies with their children. They don't make movies like this anymore.We are set to watch Part 3 this weekend. He is so excited.
