Inexpensive, Reliable, A Valuable Training Aid
This is a very reasonably priced laser training tool. I have had mine for a couple of weeks, and I have used it every day. When you hit the white dot with a laser pulse it *reliably* flashes leds which cause the entire red circle to light up. If you hit close to the white dot, or you hit the white with a steady laser (like a laser pointer), nothing happens. When you hit the red part of the target, or the white rim, the strike is very visible. Unlike some more expensive laser targets, this one does not remember where you hit. Target practice can be boring, so having something which flashes as a reward is very helpful. Also you can play games like, "how many times in a row can I make it flash?," or, "How many times out of 10?" Of course you can use different distances. The 1/2" white dot is challenging over 10 ft away. (With a laser cartridge, any pistol is accurate because differences in ammo, looseness of slide, condition of the barrel, etc., are irrelevant.) (Assuming the laser cartridge is snug in the chamber.) I also put my cell phone on a stool near the target and took a video to see my shot pattern. (High and right when I am twitching! Dead on when I am not.) It is easy to mount. It has key-holes for nails, it has magnets on the back, plus it has a plastic loop that can be used to hang it. It balances well when hung. Definitely worth the $30. The fancier ones are $100-$250.

Great tool, bullseye needs to smaller.
After 7 years of use I bought another so I would have 2. No bells and whistles, just lights up when you hit the bullseye. If you want more it will coast you more, imagine that! Great product with no complaints. The 2nd one seemed to be a little glitchy when I first put the batteries in. It worked itself out after a few hours. The first one might have done the same, I don't remember. After 7 years of weekly use it has worked flawless. Now I have 2. The bullseye gets a little easy to hit with point and shoot practice. Using sights It's really easy to hit. Muscle memory, Trigger pull control, Fast target acquisition, More target practice, Saves time and money, Makes better shooter's.

Worthwhile for practice
This device works very well, but I would like to see an improvement or two. First, it works as advertised and will save you a ton of money in ammunition while giving you a lot of practice. Second, it can be set up and used whenever without having to read through a lot of instructions, etc. I have since picked up another one and set them upon opposite sides of my indoor range. They work well, but it would be nice if the target had a way of identifying where your laser actually hit as the bullseye is rather small and only lights up for a direct hit and it is hard to see where the laser actually hit. So, it is hard to tell if you are pulling your shots too far left or right, etc. Maybe a minor point given the price of the product. The second change I would like to see is to flatten one side a bit, so that the target can simple be placed on a horizontal surface without it rolling around. A couple of strips of hot glue can help here, but why didn't the designers think that someone would actually put this on a shelf or the floor and not want it to roll? These minor "complaints" are not sufficient to keep you from buying this item as its good points outweigh its problems. One final point; while many may find it humorous to see the instructions state that one should not shoot at this target with real ammo, it is probably a good idea to place these targets in a place where someone who inadvertently shoots at it with real ammo will not do much more damage than breaking the target. That is, assume someone will forget which gun has the laser instead of the live ammo and you want to make sure that the backdrop is not only bulletproof, but idiotproof.

Best Bang For The Buck...Great Laser Target
I have used a variety of laser targets, and I would have to say these are the most practical, most versatile, and most economical targets out there. They are very well built and unlike one other reviewer stated, they are indeed designed to free stand(without rolling) if you use the well thought out fold away wall hanging clip. I prefer the round design as it emulates most of the targets I shoot at; being steel plates and regulation pistol targets. The best thing about their round nondescript appearance is that they rather resemble smoke detectors, allowing me to hang them around the house without looking like the gun fanatic that I am or advertising that I have guns. I may in fact paint the red portion beige to match my house and trim. The target is small and the bullseye is indeed the small sub one inch white dot in the center. If I can figure out how to attach pictures, I will post a pic of the target next to a Laser Lyte target and next to my M&P Shield for size comparison. At first, I thought the bulls eye was a cruel joke, as it is truly tiny at 7 to 10 yards, but I can tell you that this target will test your fundamentals and indeed make you a MUCH better shot. The first week I was frustrated as I found it nigh impossible to hit dead center as required to activate it, but truth be told I just needed to hone my skills. After about a month now, I can regularly score 4 out of 5 hits at 10 yards. Another thing I like about this target is that I have not had it activate from lights in the home or the fairly bright ambient sunlight, which I experience with a few other laser activated targets. I've had sets of Laser Lyte cans that were set in the darkest corner of the house activate on their own and run down their batteries. Speaking of batteries, I've had the same AA batteries in these for a month and they are still going strong. I never shut these off and shoot at then at least 700 times a week. The only criticism on these is that the on off switch is located under the battery cover which is a pain, but the great battery life more than compensates for the inconvenience. I rarely give a product 5 stars, but I was compelled to do so due to the great customer service I received from the company. The first target I received was damaged and within 2 days of contacting the seller I received a brand new target. I did not even have time to repack the broken one to send back. I now have 3 of these targets and will buy some more to set up a home competition range for friends and family. I did NOT receive any discount for this review.....I hate those posts! Buy this, it will save you thousands if you shoot as much as I do, and support a company that backs it's product.
