Just received, but so far very pleased!
I've been looking at purchasing a new radio for a long time as my now pensionable, but much loved and used Roberts radio has reached its sell-by date. I wanted a radio that I could recharge and carry around with me without having to worry about replacing a Lancaster bomb load of batteries, had a good battery life and excellent sound quality.I've only had it for one day, and its been an absolute joy! I put it on charge immediately upon receipt and it took about two hours to indicate fully charged and ready to rock. I then did a scan to find the DAB radio stations and it came up with about 96 of them in a few seconds. I chose the four I wanted and loaded them as presets, which was really easy to do and switching between the preset stations is simplicity itself.Initially I found sound quality to be a bit 'fluffy', but playing around with the on-board equalizer made an astonishing difference to both voice and music quality - I'm genuinely impressed and unless you have the hearing sensitivity of a pipistrelle bat, I don't think you'll be disappointed!Battery life is given as around 10 hours. I'm not sure what that's based on, but I've had this radio running for 5 hours now at 1/3rd volume (which is plenty for me) and it hasn't dropped one bar in available power. For a sub £70.00 radio I think this is a fabulous buy. Perhaps I'll give another review after 6 months of continued use and see if I think differently. I hope not!EDIT.So I'm now almost 2 years into ownership and I'm still very happy with this radio. I use it at home and at work and take it into the garden with a glass of wine to listen to radio 4 and watch the sun set. The fact that this radio is rechargeable has been so important to me as I can take it anywhere and not worry about needing the mains unit. The battery life is fine. I run my radio at 4 bars on the volume scale which is plenty for normal room use and it runs for a good 8 hours before shutting off and requiring a re-charge. Increasing the volume does reduce the battery life which is no surprise. The price has dropped by about a tenner since my original purchase so I might buy another and have one at work and one at home.

Good for the price (not perfect)
It's a love hate for me. The sound is good enough and is reasonably loud for small room but it has issues.Simple tasks like switching off is complicated. Its a long press to switch on. Press again and it goes to standby which shows the time. To switch on you have to press again which switches the display off and then need to long press to turn unit on. This get annoying if on Bluetooth connection and you pause for a while and it goes in to standby.Other annoyances are the time doesn't seem to be retained and is refreshed from the radio station. Great if switch on radio but if on Bluetooth when switchwd on time starts as 00:00. The last annoyance I have is periodically there's a blip in the sound probably less than half a second of silence but it happens every so often. First I though it was the dab radio station signal, but it also happens on bluetooth so it's got to be the unit.Moving on the device has plenty of presets and the dab radio playback is fine and Bluetooth connection is simple. I normally use Bluetooth to play podcast which sound fine but music sounds great and full with the stereo 2 speaker setup.I like the unit but and the other hand it annoys me but that said I live with it as it does what I need. It's not perfect in my view but has the potential to be if my annoyances were ironed out. Its never going to be as refined as a top brand device but what you get is a device that performs well at a readable price.

An Absolute Beast of a Radio
Recently bought a Multiplex D2 - which is an absolute beast of a DAB+ Radio. Duel Stereo speakers thrusting out 30watts of sound ! Crystal clear sound with the added bonus of an equaliser to annoy your neighbours just that little bit more. A swathe of available pre-sets for both FM & DAB stations. Bluetooth, USB Charging ( So you can charge your phones etc) Aux In ( not that you'll ever use that) and over 10 Hours of battery life. This is the Margot Robbie of DAB radios. Sleek, built well, loud and sassy and looks great anywhere in your home !

Unfortunately unreliable
Purchaed in January 2024. Looks good, sounds good, fairly easy to use. Unfortunately this model seems to be unreliable. Original model had several minor niggly faults quite quickly. Unit eventually failed completely in September. Azatom sent me a replacement under warranty which has lasted 2 months before failing completely. It developed a fault tuning to DAB stations within a few weeks. I've now bought a different make and model.

Lovely radio, all works well
Very nice product, I bought as a gift and she loves it. Quality is very good and the portability is great as it can be re charged. My Galaxy phone found it straight away and everything works well. Very happy

Great quality and sound
Looks and sounds amazing! Very easy to setup and store favourite stations. Also has DAB+ so can receive a few more stations than just standard DAB.
