BurgerZwieback Rusk Bread From Germany Pack of 2

I bought these for my students! Zwieback was one of our Spell Bowl words so I promised they could have some after our season. They loved these! They had more flavor than what I anticipated and were kind of sweet!

These are just like the ones I used to have as a kid in the 70s. Spread some butter and jam and eat them with a nice latte! Good quick breakfast!I wasn't sure I wanted to order them after reading reviews from people who received them all broken into small pieces. I took a chance anyway, and fortunately mine came in perfectly packaged with only a handful broken in two.

Okay, the Zwieback toast I remember from childhood, were narrow, sturdy and twice as thick as these. These are not safe for teething little ones, as they are very brittle and break apart as soon as baby starts to bite on them. I am very disappointed in these for babies. I think these would be great for littles who already have teeth and know how to bite, chew and swallow with ease. I DO NOT recommend them for teething babies, at all. Mine twin grandchildren are working on new teeth. They are 8 months old. They love eating, but I cannot let them teeth on these. ☹️

ok but abit pricey

These are approximately the same as the previously used Nabisco Zwieback toast for babies. Since it wasn't made, I tried making my own, but it didn't work... Think granite chips. I've used a number of replacements, Holland Rusk, and others, but they don't quite fit the requirement.The flavor of these is not sweet, and they appear they might work for my recipe. More updates after I construct my dessert.
