Surprising consistent performance!
I bought this to go in the middle of my Low power EP lineup. On the upper side is my Pentax 40mm XW........on the other side is my Joe Namath....(showing my age!)..Televue 24mm Panoptic. This particular eyepiece is of not the same quality BUT it is very close and has gone to the " first team" eyepiece case. For the price this is a strong thumbs up for anyone's collection.

Good eyepiece!
I bought this 34mm eye piece for a little lower power and a wider field of view. I have an ES 30mm eyepiece at 70 degrees that I like but this Svbony 34 72 degrees is just a little better to my eye.Of course it all depends on the telescope you're using, I like to use slow telescopes f/11 and slower, in my 90mm refractor f/11 it works fantastic! I even masked down the aperture so it's now a 70mm but that makes it now a f/14 which is great on all eyepieces.... Now all you people with fast Scopes like f5s and faster it probably won't be that great, that's why I don't use fast Scopes anymore they're just too rough on eyepieces no matter what they are.So my 90 mm refractor with the 2-in diagonal and 2-in eyepieces is a great view to behold, Stars look good to the edge, and it really looks like a 72° field also, and the box it comes in reminds me of Tele Vues boxes. Good job Svbony.

Good, inexpensive 2 inch wide field eyepiece for f6 and greater telescopes
I have an 8 inch f6 Dob telescope. This eyepiece provided a nice immersion experience when viewing Large star clusters (M45) Nebula (M42/43) and galaxies (M31/33). Good on-axis view. Some distortion noted at 70% out from the center of the view, with astigmatism producing seagull-like distortions at 90% out from center. You may want to consider a more expensive eyepiece with more lens elements if you telescope has a focal ratio less that f6. If you are an eyepiece perfectionist, this eyepieces is not for you. But if you want an immersion experience at a modest scope, this is a good eyepiece to consider.

Great value
Gives a super wide view in my dobsonian, image is fairly crisp to the edges

Another bargain from Svbony
Inexpensive, and surprisingly good for the money. I’m using this and the 27mm eyepiece from the same series for low power sky sweeping and comet hunting with my old TeleVue Pronto telescope. This eyepiece delivers 14x with the Pronto, which is ideal for large objects like M31.

good value eyepiece
I like this eyepiece a lot. It is great for maximizing the field of view in a Celestron C-8 SCT.It has close to the maximum fov when used with a C-8 equipped with a 2" diagonal. It is very nice with little or no vignetting. The maxi fov on a f-10 C-8 SCT is about 1.3 degrees and this eyepiece yields 60X magnification with a fov of 1.2 degrees and it is a very pleasing image.Definitely a thumbs up!

Does ok but nothing special
This is a good 34mm 2” eye piece, but my older Celestron 2” E-Lux 32mm beats it hands down for better eye relief and better image in my Celestron C8 SCT. Buy this only if you can’t find a E-Lux

Super Clarity, Minimal Abberation, "Affordable" Price
Whoa. I spent a long time on forums and talking to other astronomers before making this purchase, and in the end I only chose this eyepiece because it was the only thing that would arrive in less than two months. I was worried that svBony would be some mediocre chinese glass but I am pretty impressed. I've been to a few star parties so I've looked through the explore scientifics and I gotta say this isn't too far off, especially when considering the price. There is *very* minor chroma near the edge of the field (outer ~15%) but the center view is stunning. My first test was the moon in my 10" f/4.7 dobsonian and it really was a whoa moment. Before this it had just been done super plossls so the difference was absolutely stunning. The crispness in the image was beyond belief, with edges clearly defined and no visible abberation at all in the center fov. It definitely gives the often mentioned "porthole into space" feeling and I was instantly in love. Half the time I find myself barlowing this eyepiece rather than using my new high power eyepieces because the clarity is so impressive. DSO's are very noticable from the deep everglades and I was able to just make out some detail in the spiral arms in bode's (m81) I can say to anyone worried about QC that the eyepiece doesn't leave much to be desired!
