I should have purchased these years ago. We live in a small Farming community and at harvest time the mice have no where to hide so most of us close enough to the farm land (one block away) and the mice move in I use sticky traps and I can't get them all but I try to prevent them from moving in but to no avail, I have seen dropping in my lower cabinets and I need something to keep them out and I believe this will be my savior, anything that is strong enough to keep their heads out, if they can't get their heads in then they can't get in my cabinets thank gawd. I just wish I had thought about this 15 years ago when we moved into this 130+ year old house. I recommend them and I will be purchasing 2 more sets or one bigger package. They work.

Magnets are strong stuffed my cabinets in my sprinter van and cabinets stay shut when I'm driving, very easy to install no complaints.

These arrived in good shape and were simple to install. However, the plates to which the magnet attaches are a bit too short. This causes the screws to block the magnet from reaching the plate (even though there is a slight countersink on the plate).In spite of that, they do work, and they are made with quality.

Love these! They worked perfect and easy to apply once you figure out how to do it right.

Works very well, so far I've only used one but have plans to use the other four that I acquired. The size is perfect for my desk, the build quality is beyond what I expected and very good magnet strength.

Easy to install, quiet latching

The plate screws do not sit perfectly flush against the plate. That means there is a slight gap between the plate and the magnet, resulting in a weak attachment. I bought these to keep my cats out of my kitchen cabinets, and if the magnet component is attached flush to the surface, the seal is so weak as to be ineffectual.I solved this issue by installing the magnet a little beyond the surface of the cabinet (1/16 inch or less) and slamming the cabinet door shut. These two modifications seem to be sufficient to create a seal that will stop the cats from getting into the cupboards.
