modbis rtu over tcp not modbus tcp
The Ethernet side of this converter will not work with most industry plcs (they need modbus tcp). The Ethernet side of this device is modbus rtu over tcp.If you are merely interested in piping data from a sensor or PLC that talks modbis rtu to a server or PC using pymodbus then this will work nicely. Very cost effective way of building a small scale sensor network.
