Grest Controller
What the hell is 'sheerness' in relation to a controller Amazon? Anyway, I've waited a couple of months to write a review for this controller, simply for the reason that I've been using it for gaming on my PC(sacrilege I know) and I didn't have a Switch to try its' motion controls on. My son now has a Switch and I gave it a quick test this morning.I'm going to start by saying that I love this controller, it's not without flaws but I find it great for gaming on. The controller is, quite obviously, very similar to an Xbox controller and soft touch finish is great in the hands. The analogue sticks are extremely smooth, thanks to the metal ring inserts around them and unlike my last Pdp Xbox one controller, there's no grating feeling as I rotate the sticks. The buttons are also responsive and the triggers smooth in action, though I do find them a little too sensitive. I tend to rest my fingers on the triggers but have found I needed to change this habit as even the slightest amount of pressure was activating them. Not great when you're playing Ghost Recon and accidentally fire a round, alerting nearby enemies to your whereabouts. The downsides for me are that, on bluetooth on my PC, there is definite lag between button presses and action on the game, so much so that I constantly have the controller connected to usb, this eliminates the lag but then there's the obvious annoyance of a cable. Also, the supplied cable is rather short, I had to buy a longer one for my setup, it would have been nice to have been provided with a longer lead. On the short test with the Switch there didn't seem to be much lag, certainly not enough to render BOTW unplayable. The motion controls also worked, I had been wondering if they didn't as I had tried setting this up with Cemu on my pc and couldn't get a response from the controls. No biggie, if I never get it to work I can use my phone for motion controlled sections. I also haven't been able to test the motion control on PC games. I'm not an FPS fan but had hoped that a game like Ghost Recon would work when I was aiming but sadly it didn't so I can't comment on the usability of this feature. All in all, as a PC controller I would highly recommend this pad, it has a nice premium feel and is extremely smooth to use. The only downside for this setup being the annoying lag and having to keep it plugged in. I'm very happy with it and it definitely feels like it will last a long time(unlike the PDP and PowerA controllers, neither of those brands have served me well), as a switch controller I can't really comment, as a PC 'gamer' I seriously recommend

A Rival For Competitors
I usually make a habit of avoiding all forms of 3rd party hardware, as the build quality and feel is usually lacking in comparison to an official one, but the GULIkit KingKong PRO Wireless Controller has converted me.Upon arrival, the box looked sleek and stylish in its design, a pleasure on the eyes with similarities to bigger brand packaging. Too many companies underestimate the impact of good quality packaging, so this was a pleasure to see that there was attention to detail straight off the bat.Upon opening the box, I was seriously impressed by the quality of the contents inside the box. The controller came packaged inside a protective plastic case, helping to avoid any accidental damage during the shipping process. This is a first that I’ve seen among controller packaging, and it was a pleasure to see and gave me peace of mind knowing that the company clearly values the integrity of its products. Inside the box also contained an instruction manual in numerous languages, describing the process to hook the controller up to Switch/PC/Android, a charging cable (USB C-Type) and a little scratch card with a chance of winning up to $20! Which was a really nice little fun extra to throw in.As for the controller itself, it feels excellent to hold. Very grippy, but with a velvet type feel to the controller at the same time. My hands tend to sweat during gaming sessions, especially playing intense games, and even during the sweaty moments, it still has great grip! Which was a big concern of mine. The triggers have the same kind of soft feedback when pushing down as leading competitors, and the bumpers have the similar type of tactile clicky feedback as well, which is great.I used this controller on my Switch, and it was a pleasant experience to finally use a proper controller instead of the joycon controllers! Setting it up on the switch was a breeze thanks to the instruction manual. The controller disconnects after a time of inactivity, but you can simply press any button on the controller or the connection button at the top to wake the controller up, and it automatically reconnects. The controller also supports use on Windows and Android, although I did not get around to trying these. But as for a switch controller, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product and would definitely recommend it! It feels no different to a leading competitor, at a cheaper price! And the added benefits of being able to use it on numerous different platforms is a bonus! After such a great purchase of a third party product, I’m definitely going to start looking at other, similar third party products now! Thanks for reading my review. If you found it helpful, please don’t forget to rate it as helpful :)

Works perfectly but had initial pairing issues.
The design, performance and feel of this controller is almost exactly the same as a standard Microsoft Xbox controller - that's a good thing as so many compatible controllers fall well short. The pictures in this review show the KingKong controller on the left and an Xbox controller on the right for reference.I bought this for the Nintendo Switch and both myself and my son have been using it for intense Super Smash Bros Ultimate battles so it has had a very good hammering. The other controller we have is the excellent Switch Pro controller and so far there have been no arguments about who is going to have controller 1 or 2 - that's a great endorsement of how well it has performed. However, I had the Devils own job getting it properly paired with the Switch. The procedure should be quite straightforward yet the left stick and some buttons wouldn't work even though it was supposedly paired. I tried everything before giving up and starting a one player game with my existing Nintendo pro controller and put the KingKong controller on the floor.BUT...after a few minutes my son picked it up to try and join the game. In that time it had magically paired and every part was working perfectly. He then went on to give my character a sound beating....I would definitely recommend this controller for the Nintendo Switch although I haven't tried it on other platforms so can't comment on compatibility there.I have paired and unpaired it numerous times to double check and it has paired and performed perfectly every time.
