Move over WaveRest Gel...
I've been using a Belkin WaveRest Gel for many, many years (in fact, I ordered another one with the BRILA, and I still like the Belkin very much), but this is a really solid product and I have enjoyed using it as my main wrist rest at my standing desk, and I think it's going to stay for a while. The curved shaping makes a surprising difference in comfort, the dimpled surface seems to keep it cool(?) and while Belkin has a non-slip rubber bottom, this BRILA has a tacky flat bottom that appears to be unmovable. No moving over, BRILA, not so easily at any rate. The Belkin is still great and I will still use not only the back-up I received in the order with the BRILA, but the other one I have still in the package, and the one I've been using forever that has very obviously seen some mileage. So simple, so essential, these ergonomic accessories...

Wrist pad that you can use in various positions
I can't use a mouse without a wrist pad and this provides the right height and width for my setup. The shape is great and I find myself using it in different positions throughout the day. I get no fatigue when I use it and bought a second one for my desk at work.

Well made and good but not as stand alone wrist support.
The wrist pad is quality made with quality material but does not work for me as a stand alone item. The gel does not give very well and the height gain from resting upon it is excessive. Initially I was unhappy with the product as it fails as a standalone wrist support for my hardcore gaming needs as a high dps finger dragger. The pad got in the way every time I needed to move super fast by holding my hand back in movement, motion, and speed. Then I bought the long Kingston HyperX Wrist Rest to use on the edge of the desk for my elbows. I like elbows on the desk top edge and this makes that use very nice indeed. The Kingston HyperX Wrist Rest is long and is soft enough to give in while holding in place for comfort and long enough to slide across it for speed. What really made my day was when I used this gel pad on the wrist area with the HyperX Wrist Rest along the edge so that they both elevate fairly equally. When combined this way they make a great combination for comfort and fairly good speed at that. Sometimes this rest gets knocked out of the way for ultra fast gaming but when it settles down I always put this wrist rest back under the wrist in various positions closer and farther to the elbow. I love the combination of the two kinds of wrist rests together so much I bought the second one. The second rest came with a defect with and bubble like bulge the size of a pencil eraser. The defective bubble raises one side a little and makes it slide a little but not enough to return so I just kept it. I consider the bubble as a production line fluke that probably is not very common nor worth a refund over. Absent the bubble the pad is top quality in material and manufacturing. I would not have bought the second rest if it were not for the Kingston HyperX Wrist Rest but they work delightfully together for chronic hardcore gaming needs. I am happy to have bought it now.

Solid
Very firm, does not slip on a wooden desk, has a nice form that cradles the arm. Protip: place the cushion closer to your elbow to escalate the arm and reduce wrist strain. Might be small for someone with massive forearms but good size for me.

Feels great, works great, at a great price
After I started experiencing some wrist pains from extended gaming sessions I finally decided it was time to get something to support my wrist to relieve some strain before it gets worse or turns into carpal tunnel syndrome etc. Why did I pick this one instead of one of the hundred other wrist pads that are available? - I wanted something that isn't super squishy, and saw some reviews mention that this one is a bit harder, which is absolutely true. For me it is the perfect amount of stiffness. Soft enough where it feels comfortable to rest my wrist on, but not so soft that my wrist sinks in. - I also wanted a pad where the material is high quality and doesn't detach from the gel under it. Since this pad uses memory foam instead of gel it shouldn't have those issues, and it feels very well manufactured, hope it holds up after long term use. - My third criteria was making sure the pad wasn't smelly and wouldn't start smelling over time. I can't talk about long-term smell yet, but the pad currently basically has no smell. I also feel the grooves in the pad surface help keep it cooler when my wrist is on there for a long time, so I shouldn't have a lot of issues with sweating into the pad. - Last criteria was low price, and this one certainly fits the bill. Even if I have to get a new one once a year or so it's definitely worth it to keep my wrist from hurting. I'm so used to it by now that I'm getting another one for work!

I don't like it
I meant to return this, but I never got around to it, so I still have it. This feels so stiff that it hurts my wrist more than it helps. I just want something soft like a pillow for my wrist, I don't know where to find something like that or if it even exists. Three stars since it probably works for someone, it seems well built, but not for me. Expected it to be softer.

Not big enough
It’s comfortable but could be a little larger
