I read all the reviews on the lights filling with water and failing so I took extra precautions . I mounted the lights with 3M heavy duty double sided tape ( i didn't want to drill holes in the boat) then sealed them with silicon around the bezel. The silicon serves 2 purposes . First it assists in keeping the lights in place . Secondly it seals out water from compromising the double sided tape and helps ensure against water intrusion into the light if there is a defect in the LED light housing. The lights have worked flawlessly for 4 years. They are very bright and light up the water behind the boat very well.

These lights were cheap compared to other underwater boat lights. I have two of them sitting a few inches below the waterline of my boat. They work great. I normally get my boat out of the water and store it between weekends, but I’ve left it in the water for the past 4 weeks. No issues with the lights filling with water.

Update - Seller contacted me and said if I purchased another set they will refund my original purchase. Great customer service 6 months after purchase! I will change my star rating once refund is received. Refund has been received and I was surprised that the seller followed up with a negative review even tho it was 8 months after purchase. One flooded and then fell off. The attachment screws are too small for the size and forces they encounter when mounted on the rear transom. The second one works great and provides almost enough light for night surfing, but I have never done that.... cause its illegal on government owned lakes... Update of the update... 7/2025. All junk. Im taking them off. 2 wont turn on, and the third only half the LED are working. Super yellowing and flooded inside. Even if the seller got me another set, i will have to replace them every year. Now there are holes all over my transom, for me its not too big of a deal because I can patch them but when I go to sell the boat they next buyer may get picky about all the holes.

Arizona RS 5-333(f) states: “No watercraft may display a blue light of any size or type unless it is either an authorized law enforcement watercraft of the federal, state or local government actually engaged in enforcement of this chapter or an emergency watercraft. Got yelled at by a cop near the bridge during the 4th of July fireworks show.

Wow....! Bright! Excellent product very bright, great color and easy to install. I will say I added some marine adhesive to the electrical leads, where it enters the light housing.... just looked to me like it might leak, so just being cautious.... And that’s why i gave this product 4 stars. But overall, good product. Update: I have had these lights for over a year and still working great! Now I will give them 5 STARS! New Update: Here it is 2025 Still working like day one! And I have used them a lot.

This is everything advertised and more. Super easy to install. I wired them to my anchor light. Look great behind the boat and the way the illuminate the waves is beautiful.

I bought a pair of these LED lights less than 9 months ago and put them on my Pontoon. They worked well, although the lights are not as bright as advertised...but I still like them. My pontoon is on a lift so the lights are out of the water and have only been immersed in water for less than 15 hours max since I bought them. I noticed last month that one light had leaked and water was inside the casing and was no longer working. One light is still working properly, so I gave these lights the benefit of the doubt and ordered another pair. The jury is still out on if I would endorsed these lights to others.
