Fun Story With a Message Kids Actually Get
My daughter absolutely loves The Squirrels Who Squabbled! The story is funny, fast-paced, and filled with gorgeous illustrations that keep her hooked every time we read it. She especially enjoys the silly antics of the two squirrels and always giggles at their over-the-top competition. What I appreciate most is that the book sneaks in a gentle message about sharing without ever feeling preachy. It’s one of those rare picture books that’s just as enjoyable for adults to read aloud as it is for kids to listen to. We loved it so much that we ended up purchasing most of the other books in the series (The Lion Inside, The Koala Who Could, etc.), and they’ve all been hits. This one, though, is still the most requested at bedtime. If you’re looking for a story that combines humor, heart, and beautiful artwork, this book is a wonderful addition to any child’s collection.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork with this cute story!
This is SUCH a cute book. We love all the children's books by this author and have bought them all. The moral of the story is so good and cute. I would highly recommend adding this to your library. As a parent, I enjoy reading this one!

Friendship and Sharing Fun
Who hasn't raced against a friend for the last goody? This story is a fun romp through some squirrelly antics to nab that last nutty pinecone before winter. Rachel Brights' musicality tips and dips with fun and frivolity as two squirrels race for the bouncing pinecone. Jim Field's autumn palette adds humorous fall flavors to each page. This is a great book to encourage the joy of friendship and sharing.

Cute Book Bad Font Choices
My son loves this book and the silly squirrels, he’s 4. It’s a cute story and a sturdy book. The font colors though are bad on a few pages, dark on dark and makes it hard to read as a bedtime story.

Really cute book.
I'm a substitute teacher and I take books along with me to school in case I have a little time to fill during the day. I read this book to a 2nd grade class, who really liked it. Only one problem- one student must have really liked it- it had disappeared when I packed-up to go home at the end of the day.

Great. A good investment for the soul.
Great! Yesterday my son did not want to share his bike with a kid that could no afford to have a bike. But, after he read the book, he told me “Let’s go to the park, I want to share my bike with all kids” The book has a lot of vocabulary and a teaching that adults and kids alike will not forget. Don’t doubt, what you learn buying this book has no price.
