I bought a 1 kg can in April 2023 and applied this product on small areas of rooftop and on sunshade of first floor where small leakages were seen. The result was very positive as no leakage wa seen since its application and after two rainy seasons.

The waterproofing admixture was received in a sealed condition. My Mistry (Workman)approved it and said that it was indeed the original thing. He used it to repair the spalled plaster of the ceiling. It was used very sparingly and is still with me for later use. A good product from Dr Fixit.Steps used by me:* Clean well the surface to be repaired* Use gloves to protect against skin allergy* Prepare the mortar as per step 4* Apply Dr Fixit pre-coat: by100gm Dr Fixit + 150gm cement* While the pre-coat is still sticky to touch, apply the Dr Fixit mortar as: 1kg Dr Fixit + 2kg water + 10kg cement + 30kg fine Madras sand / stone dust + extra water as required for workability.* (Mix Dr Fixit URP in the 2kg water, slowly add cement and sand, continuing to mix well, and add extra water just enough to get a tight mortar.)
