Works great in Boston weather where it is too windy to use an umbrella. In fact, this product is so good that it doesn't breathe (which is the only downfall)! Having said that, it definitely does its job of keeping you unaffected by the rain. Also, I was surprised at how this acts as a windbreaker as well! It shields you from the convection of a harsh wind which keeps you warm. It is definitely a cute and functional piece that is a necessity in New England weather! I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone.

NOT WATER PROOF!
The only good thing was that it was long. It was pricey and it's basic function, which was to keep you dry was not there. If you wear this in any kind of rain with the intention to stay dry, you will by disappointed, because you're going to get soaked. I felt sill that the rest of my family which wore regular inexpensive ponchos wear dry. Don't waste your money.

perfect for tall people
Very long rain jacket, perfect for tall people. Has 2 deep pockets, which I like. Drawstrings at the side, nice touch. Also has a hood with drawstring as well, keeps your head and hair dry. The sleeves contains 2 buttons for easy adjustments for wide or narrow. Although I ordered extra small, it runs big (can fit a large person). Keeps you completely dry.

Keeps you dry!
Very thin, but it was just what I was looking for. It's not super flattering, but it's also not heavy/hot like a winter coat would be. So I can use for those Spring and Summer showers when it's too warm for a thicker coat. The down side of it being thin is that it does blow around some so you have to keep hold of it if it's windy. I'm 5'2" and it comes down about mid calf on me.
