These do not work. We purchased these mats to protect our Christmas tree from our house cats, and set up a teepee as a mock tree. As you can see, our cats had no problem navigating over the mat. Even our 13 year old “curvy” cat did just fine. (Pictured here.) You can see in the photo we even went two mats wide. So we moved the prickly mats outside, having an ongoing issue with neighbor dogs trespassing and attacking our fence line viciously. In the video you can see, they have no problem running on the mat. This has been going on for weeks, and is not “one time only” occurrence of the dogs running across the mats directly. I can say the mats are ok to install, and an ok price, but do NOT work for what they are made for. 👎

I bought this to put in my flower pots to keep the squirrels from digging up my flowers. Would not recommend it for use in pots. It curls up too much and won't stay anchored down, even with the pins. Maybe it would work just rolled out around for ground plantings.

These are AMAZING! I had to cut 2 rolls to fit a narrower space and it was very easy with kitchen shears. There were enough spikes to hold it down. My two puppies were digging up my courtyard planting areas! You can’t even tell they’re there. Other than these spike strips actually work to keep the puppies out of the beds, I love that they’re almost invisible. It took me about 30 minutes to do 4 rolls with cutting 2 of them.

This is the best thing created after sliced bread.The mat is fantastic it keeps my American bulldog off the couch I cut it into pieces put one on the large couch and a small one on the love seat. I even put it around the tree so they won’t jump into my flower bed.

At first cats actually walked on the prickles. They didn't like it and learned they did not want to do it again so they finally quit trying.

Finally got the Cat out of my pots/plants. He killed mny and used them for his business, and it wasn't even my cat...

It worked. I used it on a table under a christmas tree. Before the cat would lay under the tree and chew the branches. After I put down the mat he jumped onto the table a few times but it was so uncomfortable he jumped right back off.

It has been working great. I wish I bought two more rolls.
