This runs a bit large

This is a lightweight hat that acts as promised. I do like it, but I wish the brim was slightly more sturdy, as it bends in the slightest wind. Otherwise I love it.

I may hate how this hat looks but my husband LOVES IT. He wears it to cook a football meal for everyone, every time he cuts grass. Keeps his head cooler than a traditional ball cap and keeps his ears and neck from burning. Good gift!

These Bora Bora hats are great. I had another for years that finally wore out. I got a new one and it is just as good. In fact the brim on the new one has a little wider and stiffer brim, so better for sun protection. I have a big head and this fits fine, so don't let "unisex" scare you if you are a large male. It will still fit. I'd expect this one to last a long time like the original did.

I have been wearing this hat daily while taking my dog for walks during the record hot, dry summer we just had. It not only kept my head cool, it also did a great job blocking the sun from my face, ears, and neck, eliminating the need to apply sunscreen to anywhere on my head for dog walks. It is well ventilated, and really did seem to help keep my head cooler on hot, sunny days.Now that the rain has returned, I wear it to keep my head dry, but because the wide brim can catch the wind, I do have to use the draw string to keep it from blowing off in an unexpected gust.I even wore it for the one fishing trip I took this year.

Im 41. I like to think I still look good. I still try to stay fit, and maintain a certain level of coolness. The younger me would have NEVER dreamed of wearing something like this. But... that sun gets hot when im out there battling the other dads for the most supreme lawn on the block. With this hat, I have stepped up my lawn game. Im able to spend more time in the sun... power raking, aerating, fertilizing, watering, cutting, trimming... you name it. The mesh top lets the heat out, when I get hot headed at another neighbor even THINKING he can keep up with my lawn game. I put this hat on...I run my fingers around the brim... I grip my cub cadet, and roll out.... Michael Jack style.
