I’ve been using this same mix for a long time and never found better as far as taste or texture. I had run out and wanted more but not in the large amount I had bought before. I selected this one not really taking the time to compare per/ounce to what I had bought before. After I had already ordered I did some shopping to see who carried the same mix. I found out my local Walmart carried the exact same mix in a 2 lb. size about 10 times LESS than what I paid Amazon for this sized bag. The Amazon purchase was a rip-off clearly…highway robbery!

I really need to start paying attention more. I ordered this expecting the 5 # package I usually get, but it's a 7oz package. Oh well! My bad. It is still the best biscuit mix I've found. Simple to mix up. Great flavor and texture to the biscuits.

I didn’t realize this was only enough to make one batch of biscuits, but that’s on me. I followed the directions exactly, and the dough was way too wet. Extra flour was necessary to be able to cut out the biscuits. The bag I ordered made 7 biscuits, and that was with two big extra scoops of flour added. Biscuits had a good taste, but if I order again it will be a bigger bag of mix. This order worked out to be over a dollar per biscuit.

I bought a bag of biscuit flour and It looked like a good sized bag but once I received it there was only enough for 8 biscuits. For the price I paid I could have bought two bags of buttermilk biscuit flour for less at the grocery store.
